Wasn't to sure where to put this because it isn't a technical error of any way...But, I want to evolve some of my pokemon that only do so through trade while holding a certain item.Since I use the an emulator, I know wifi is not an available function.Does anybody know a way around this at all?

I don't know what pokemon you're playing, but I use No#GBA and there's a function to link two games to be able to trade. Try searching it on youtube, or some search engine!

That will work for GBA games but doesn't really work for DS games.It gives you hope since you are able to enter the union room but it doesn't seem to work past that.Just go with the link Molh. posted. It's been shown to work although it may be a bit hard to get it to work.

There are several hacks out there that lets you evolve pokémon by levelling up instead of trading, you might want to look around for hacks like pokémon bloody diamond and such.

You can just use cheats to evolve them. Try googling for the codes

So downloading pokesav allows me to evolve the pokemon or just get one that is already maxed out?

It just allows you to make a pokémon from scratch and/or edit it's parameters, so you can make a (somewhat) legit pokémon with it.

try wat shadowman said. my porygon evolved into porygon 2 after leveling up, then into porygon z. it confused me too.

Well, unless you want to experience your pokemon evolving, I see no reason why you shouldn't just grab a fully evolved one with the cheats.
