firefox is the way to go. both firefox and chrome are bout equally secure. however firefox is more convenient for the obsessive compulsive user like me who likes to meticulously organize bookmarks and stuff. also firefox has better privacy options in my opinion. finally, i really like firefox's wide range of reliable add-ons that really personalize and enhance the browsing experience. mayne i should be a spokesperson for mozilla

firefox has major memory leakage so IMHO chrome is the way to go. Fast, light, and a nice UI. I really like the single search/adress bar

Firefox is the obese guy that hogs up every piece of food he can find in his way, but can get along with anybody.Chrome is the anorexic teenager that feeds on cardboard and has many serious issues behind the screens, this teenager will also always feel incomplete. Now to clarify this, chrome is in fact an incomplete browser, it misses a lot of features and if you have errors with chrome on a site, it is the browsers fault, not the website's. Google also keeps this in beta on purpose to avoid all responsibility, that is just plain bad in my opinion. If your browser doesn't even has all it's components, then how the hell do you call it a browser anyways. Yeah it's fast, but it also doesn't function like it should.Firefox on the other hand is the huge memory hog that will consume nearly all RAM in it's wake (although version 4 runs a lot smoother than 3.6 TBH). Take the add-ons in account that are usually not optimized and you've got a browser that can crash a lot or is extremely slow. But that is also the fact why I love firefox. It has a lot of neat features and the add-ons come in very handy. You can also find a lot of add-ons on their site and there is a lot of support for them as well. Do not think I'm bashing chrome though, I hate it, but if you have a very slow computer or if you want a minimalistic browser, then chrome is the way to go.tl;dr firefox rocks, chrome can be good in some situations but I personally hate it

I used to root for Firefox back in the day the only real alternative was IE, but now I find browsing with Firefox is like taking the tank to the grocery store compared to Chrome, which would correspond to a Smart car or a bicycle in that analogy. Chrome is still a long way from being finished and complete, but I still think it's the best browser out there if speed matters to you.

I don't really have a preference. Right now, I have Opera, Chrome and Firefox open. It doesn't really matter all that much, but I use Opera for webcomics, Google Chrome is for manga reading, and Firefox is for Youtube and Stumbleupon. Even this very post is being typed in Firefox. I guess in my mind it helps to spread it out since I would have a great number of tabs open otherwise and it would become difficult for me to navigate.

Chrome seems to open faster on my laptop, so I tend to use it more often(I have Windows 7). Firefox is more for reading longer pieces from the bookmarks I made long ago in IE and transferred over. Firefox has been having problems lately with PDF's that remain up a while though, so I may use it less often.

I prefer google chrome better because i think its pretty cool that you can type things in the address bar and it would go to google and search it. I think that is pretty cool. I also prefer it over firefox because now it has made a new addition by making apps on it. so now chrome has apps and that's always fun.

I personally prefer Chrome. We use FireFox at school and it's just not as nice as Chrome, I've always found it kinda cluttered.
