It's not if gamers exercise, but which ones exercise. Its typically common sense. If you're a lvl 85 orc frost death knight with over a 2800 rating in the BattleGround, you probably don't exercise too often. In other words, hardcore gamers don't have time to exercise; casual gamers will.

I am a gamer!I like exercising too... but seriously, I suck at sports. Always get ostracized if I played badly out there. The feeling is so ennui...But I swear I am gonna go exercise like mad after my promotional examinations that is upcoming! Simply for two reasons: One to keep fit, other to slim down my thighs! They are dam freaking huge.

i play the most time games, every day average 6 á 7 hour in a weekend and schooldays and 9 á 10 hour in a vacantion day, but i do fitness 2 times a week and 1 time a week to the farm to feed the animals and plays football on the farm, and i can planning my homework, what's the problem with games, i sport enough, i create time for my homework and i work every wednesday on a farm.

Very false, the "gamers don't exercise" thing. Some do, some don't. I do now and then. Not a hardcore gamer though.

Yes i excercise...and for some reason more often when i'm angry.. 
Best answer and i was about to vote you up...ran out of quota..This is an understandable stereo type since most gaming (especially pc games) requires no physical activity. Though I'd love to crush that stereo type when I surprise friends and co workers by playing the least 100 sec in DDR showing that gamers also partake in exercise.

I try to get some push ups done and what not daily. Though i havent really exercise 
. Though i am not overweight either but i do feel weaker and slower.
