Bananas are not my favorite kind of fruit, but I wouldn't feel weird about eating one in public. What other people think about me is none of my business. If they get some dirty thoughts that's says more about them then me

Eating a banana means... well eating a banana. You could also use a fork or any other utensils to eat it. You could blenderize it and make a great banana latte. Anything else that is done with a banana other than eating it is weird.

Yea, no eye contact. That's when it really becomes awkward. Unless of course you both just bust out laughing. Then it's more funny then awkward.

Well, no i don't feel awkward at all. The person who should be feeling awkward is the one staring at you while you eat. For me eating banana is nothing more that eating banana, period and for those who think of it as something else, please learn to respect the food that we eat, for sure, if theres nothing else out there to feed you other than a banana, you'll come running for it so before that time comes learn to take that green mind of your somewhere else coz' it'll definitely kill you because of starvation.

i love bananas, and i dont think its really weird if you are the only who eats it at work. it is one of the most convenient fruit to just gulp it down very easy and start working again

Hmm... I don't really feel awkward about eating a banana around people, but I guess it'd be more typical to eat some other fruit like an apple or orange.
