I got an GBC as a gift from my friend who's aunt lives in Japan. She bought it when the GBC first came out, so it's the first edition. One of my most prized possessions. The first gaming system I bought myself was a Playstation that I bought vacationing in china, it came with an pre-installed mod-chip and everything
No need for signature, I'm a living legend.
this seems to be the reguired clishee for these forums... so now ih have it too!

Very first was the original Gameboy with no color. Big fat console but played my Gold n Silver just fine.
Loved the console because it's so hardy. I still have em but they're dead.
After that was when the GBC just released Ah the lovely bright console colors..

Mine was the GBC, i still remembered it was a Made in China purple colour one, while my sis was made in japan with the same colour

It depends... The first system I remember playing is either the SNES or N64. I know my family owned an N64. I got my own GBC at age 5. So it's one of those 3 I guess...

my NES was my first system and outlasted my SNES which my dad sold by mistake during a garage sale....made me so sad

, I had that 100-in-1 games in one cartridge so I guess if I had to pick the first one it would be (well it says adventure kid but its not its that game) where you eat food to survive but that part of the game was removed but same character, and "things inside eggs that turn into things XD" I'm not sure of the name of the game but it was fun its by that bee--something company that doesn't exist anymore they only made a fewgames apparantly

My very first game system was Super Nintendo. Donkey Kong Country was the very first game i had it. I do not know what happen to the game and my super nintendo, it was probably about 10+ years ago since i last seen my game system.

almost everyone that posted to this makes me feel so old. my earliest system was an atari 2600. I miss playing games for fun.

My first game system was my blue Game Boy Color, and my first two games for it were Pokemon Yellow, and the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Even when I was 5 I was a hardcore pokemon fan xP

Haha. My very first console I ever owned was the good ol' NES.
My dad and I would play that thing for hours. Mario, Duck Hunt, Mario 2, Zelda, Megaman. I was never good at them, but they were certainly amazing back then.
It finally completely died a few years ago when it fell off a low-shelf while being inside of a box. The thing never turned on again. : ( But we still have some of the games and we now have some NES game player thing. So they still get used on ocassion.
