The release lineup was terrible, saving pilotwings. Many new gamers may not be acquanted with it, but it is still FUUUUN.I really hope nintendo doesn't screw up starfox or zelda.

I tried Pilotwings at Best Buy. I could not stand the 3D. 3D movies work great for me, but this game just didn't really work. The depth perception was a bit funky too. Anyone having a problem with it? I know I'm not buying a 3DS.

Actually, I was gonna post something about Pilotwings, but I'll save everyone the trouble. What is it like? It kinda gets boring always resorting to Street Fighter when I get bored of Ridge Racer or Shadow Wars, or when I accidentally get pwned in Samurai Warriors. I was thinking of buying this, but I'd like to know how in depth it is.

Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

I had the old Pilot Wings game on the 64, I didn't play it as much as Mario Kart but it was still awesome, so if I do end up getting a 3DS (which will probably never happen) I'll definantly buy it.

I too agree the line-up was horrible and I can imagine Pilotwings being great for showcasing the 3D effects although the game itself didn't interest me. I got Rayman 3D instead which was a fun remake of the Dreamcast classic. Doesn't really show off the 3DS's full capabilities mind you. THAT remains to be seen.Like the above poster, I enjoyed the original PilotWings as well and I could already sort of play a 3D Pilotwings with an N64 emulator, Pilot Wings 64 rom, and iz3D.

At least all the previews of Zelda seem to indicate that it's pretty much the definitive version of the game, of course it too doesn't really showcase any of the raw power of the 3DS, just that Nintendo is nice enough not to be extremely lazy when it comes to a port of a respected game (looking at you Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary). That being said, I think a lot of us bought it early to take advantage of the firmware as soon as possible. Since handhelds have gotten around to getting regular firmware upgrades, unless you get in at the right time, it might be impossible to hack/jailbreak the system at your convenience.

i think its great fun, its a bit of a shame that theres only one island and no parachute like the sense version, but it keeps me entertained. worth a look
