My favorite characters in Harry Potter are Fred and George, because they have the funniest lines in all the books. It's to bad George is missing an ear and Fred's dead by the end of Deathly Hallows.

Sirius Black, hands down. He's basically the coolest book character I've ever read of by far. I was fine with his death in book 5 (and because I'm lame that way, I cried when I read it... and didn't believe he was really dead until the last book |

I liked Harry, Hermione and Ron. They are my favorite characters of all time.Snape was also one of my favorites, but only sometimes.

Fred and George are hilarious, but Draco Malfoy is my favourite character. I don't know why I like him the most, though. I think it's because I somehow feel sorry for him? And because he's a bad boy

My all time favourite character since book 1 is Professor Severus Snape!! 
I love him! Some of my other favourites are the Weasley Twins, the Marauders (sans Wormtail of course...

In the books I definitely liked Hermione, she was pretty damn awesome =] well, she was really good in the movies too but I thought Sirius black was better.
