I dont think any game has any negative effect on children but what does affect them negatively is what they see happening around them in real life. A little kid can see someone kill hundreds of people on a tv screen and get away scot free when they go to sleep in their house but if the see a person do it in real life most likely the person will not get away and they will be punished for their crimes. Basically i think its how easy a kid sees it is to perform something they see in a game in real life rather then the action itself.

Only the really idiotic or challenged would be incited by video games to violence...the situation for blaming video games for violent outbreaks in children is similar in many ways to the old 1950's debate on comic book violence...

I don't care, let those idiotic kids who think any games with violence is automatically the best and those morons who think trying to copy games makes them "cool" go and die a horrible and painful death. Kids who try and copy games because it makes them cool suck, they are an insult to gamers everywhere. They can't tell reality from fiction.

just cause some kids are stupid and parents need to find something to blame for the kids' problems... they have no right to blame it on video games...

Well it's true that games give violence to children but not all. Mostly rated T, M, and A+ give children violence.

I don't really care if it does or doesn't. Some games though I would say do promote violence though because kids will think its cool or fun and go out and try it and then end up hurting someone. They don't do it just to do it, they do it because they don't know any better.

I don't really care, because I've been playing blood-and-guts games since I was 10 or so. I don't think I've majorly been affected, but I can't really tell, since I'm with me all the time.

Some games may have some effect on some children. It all depends on how the kid was raised, and how much they play games, really.

I've noticed some of my son's friends pretending to be a video game char. when they can't actually play them. Its nice to use the ole imagination like that but if thier playing Doom or something like that i begin to wonder. Young kids can do thos sorts of things at that age, but hopefully they grow out of it. Unfortunatly some don't and become a problem.
