Thanks this post was helpful now i know that i am not the only one with this prob thanks!I have a 3DS too and there is no internet browser until the firmware update Otoko Tsubasa mentioned. I believe it'll be released globally at the end of May (not just in Japan).

Yes, I get the sense that Nintendo rushed this handheld out before it was truly ready (as in all services for it available immediately). On the other hand, for those of us that REALLY wanted one, would we want to wait a few months longer. On the bright side, at least there was a selection of games to play albeit a small one whereby only 1 or 2 ended up being worthwhile (which ones depend entirely on personal taste). You know what though, I wonder if this thing could be made to view YouTube 3D videos. That'd be a nice feature if Nintendo could pull it off.A date still hasn't been specified yet. Which is a bother, because I plan to download things from day 1.

Nor HTML5 as that could have been a nice alternative to flash. The 3DS is capable of streaming video as seen when you enter the eShop and either watch a trailer or get the designated app for 3DS video. However, the question is whether Nintendo wants to integrate this functionality into the web browser component.3ds dont support adobe flash player...sucks cant watch youtube videos

Those videos aren't streamed. They are all downloaded to the SD card. You have to go delete them manually. But it does have Netflix, though I haven't been able to get it to work yet. Apparently a small number of people are having connection troubles with it, and I'm one of them. But the impressions I've seen of it seem to show that it works just fine. Nothing special, what with the horrendous resolution of the 3DS screen (thanks in no small part to the parallax screens, ironically) but passable.Nor HTML5 as that could have been a nice alternative to flash.
