Advent Children was good enough of a sequel, don't you think?If they tried to make a game sequel, it'd be horrible. Just look at FFX-2.

I don't think they should make a sequel. They should remake the game with better graphics and voices. That would improve the game so much.

I disagree. FFVII was meant to be and already is a classic. I'd say any attempt to relive the hype for FFVII by re-creating the game or put a (game) sequel would only ruins what good memories we had of the game.

A remake is a definite win-win situation for both the fans and square enix. I mean don't you want to see knights of the round summon in kick-donkey cgi? Though they could add a bit more like adding the advent children as a final stage or sumthin. That sword and bike of cloud is sooo coooool. A motorcycle battle like that would be sumthin... hmmmnn...

Technically they did make a sequel, 4 of them FFVIII-FFXI, and also I don't think they should because if they do it will probably be another FFX-2 dissapointment.FF7 is my fav final fantasy by far,they should make a sequel for such an awesome game, square-enix are making FF7 Dirge of Cerberus, but they should stil bring back Cloud and stuff.

They should have made that remake on the PS3, if it ever comes out, but they could make so much more money on hard core FF freaks, just because it's FF.

I'm not sure if they should. Advent Children kicked donkey, but by making a sequel could spoil what they already have going for them.

hmm! i think if they make a sequel out of ff7 many people will dislyk it and critize it b'coz of the expection out of the name ff7 not to mention theres no more left in the ff7 world. what can they come up with it

I would like it if Square remade FF7 with some details improved, like graphics and such. But also, I would sooo much want Zack to be one of the playable characters! When I first learned of Zack's existence, I was all : 
at his coolness. (Or at his hair) But then they just HAD to go and ruin it by killing him off! I mean, come ON! Square seems to have picked up this nasty habit of either killing off the really cool characters pretty much right away, or make them uber evil so that you will have to kill them yourself in the end. Now that sucks. It was the same with Final Fantasy VIII. Does the name Seifer ring any bells? In Final Fantasy IV it was also much the same. The main character's brother, for example. He was the coolest guy around, but they just HAD to make it the way they did! (I'm not going to spoil things for those of you who haven't played these games) In Final Fantasy V, it was Zeza and Kelgar. In Final Fantasy VI, it was Leo. And in Final Fantasy X, it was Seymour. And that seriously sucks. Anyway, as I said earlier, remake FF7 with Zack alive in it. There, that's my two cents.

THere is supposedly going to be a prequel of ffvii on the psp called crisis core, zacks the primary character. i think the events are be4 sephiroth went postal on everyone...i would personally prefer if they made a 3d ffvi instead.

ff7 was great...but they shouldnt make a sequel...dirge of cerberus kinda sucked and advent children was dissapointing. a sequel would just be weird and ruin ff7. id rather see a remake of it

Yea... i agree...they should just make a remake if anything.and have square milk the cow and make a game of pure suckage no thanks ff7's reputation must not be tainted but heck ffx didn't have much of a reputation to begin with

Dirge of Cerberus wasn't a game, it wasn't a sequel, it wasn't what most people ASSUMED it would be, it was background information on Vincent as well as plot for a possible sequal to FF7. As for Advent Children, the US version was horrible, they butchered so many of the lines in translation it was ridiculous, the Japanese version was much better. FF Last Order was interesting but didn't tell us much that most of us didn't already know. Yes Crisis Core is a real game yes you do play as Zack and yes it is PSP only, it is in fact before Sephiroth goes nutzo. Squareenix has already announced a FF7 remake for PS3 supposedly with updated graphics, and they have nearly guaranteed that FF7 will have a sequal, for those of you who dont know why go watch Advent Children and play through Dirge of Cerberus and unlock the secret ending (requires you to have the 3 G reports)

No,No and hell NO.I mean it will only DELAY the new games if they make a damn remake it'l take about 2 or 3 years to make a damn remake.It will Delay FF:14 and Kingdom Hearts 3 so NO!
