Get them at newgrounds while their hot! Here! This is fan art. Don't expect anything official. And the chocobo mix song is a must!!dude how can he have seen it is isn't even finished yet!! maybe he's seen the 20 minute preview that was shown at the Cannes film festival which outlined the story but didn't have many of the action sequences integrated into it. It's scheduled for september 14th release in Japan and America (by the end of the year in europe), and there are no plans at the moment for a cinematic release, however Tetsuya Nomura HAS talked about the possibilty of a cinematic release so watch this space

FF7 was a deadly game but to make a remake of it sounds like a waste of time. Just enjoy the following FF's and leave FF7 as being the best FF out there. Don't want to be disappointed by a remake or sequal, so just move on.

I'm going back a few months ago now, but whilst I was busy searching away for information on Advent Children, I came across a number of FF7 cartoon films. Each lasts about half an hour and there are a handful of them released, but I think only in Japan though. I'll do some more research on them if I can. God knows what they were called, but I definately recall reading about them. UpdateWell I've done a little research and I have found two things: Final Fantasy: Unlimited and Final Fantasy: The Legend of the Crystals.FF:LOC was based around FFV and was release in Japan as a TV series a long time ago, I think. FFU is probably what I found before, and is not actually based on FF7 (sorry, I thought it was). Again it is a TV series so far only released in Japan (according to this site). If you guys need any more information on them, either click the link (they are both on there under U and LOC, although U will come up once you click the link) because I couldn't be bothered to read properly about them as they do not interest me, lol.

It would be awesome to see a remake/sequel to FF7 but dont forget that 7 was the best game and its going to be hard to make a sequel that is going to meet that standard.

I think they are remaking FF7 for the new playstation three. My little sister showed me a preveiw clip of it. It looks freaking awesome too.Edit: Just realized I am a little late with this info :whistle2:I think it would be better for Square to make a remake instead of a sequel. We already have a remade Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 5, why not just have a better graphiced version of FF7 instead of a whole new crappy sequel?

There should be no freagin sequel made to this game. The game is just fine how it is. They are already trying to ruin it with the advent children movie and the other prequels and the sequel vincent has. Leave the game alone!

Well, if they make a remake of the (Hopefully they will), they should have some more stuff added to the remake instead of jus redoing the whole game just like it is, i wonder if they will?

Did you not actually read the website?! It says that there will NOT, I repeat NOT be a remake of FF7 for PS3. The footage and pictures on the website are just from a technical demo to show what the PS3 could deliver. However, there WILL be another Final Fantasy game for PS3 and this is all guaranteed by the website you provided if you just took the time to look at the thing. I admit this is such a shame because the demo looked absolutely amazing and I can't believe they are not remaking it. It'd be awesome. Upon first hearing of Fianl Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, I ran a google search and one of the first sites I entered (other than the official site) was a site that had an article of what was going on with the game's production. The part I found most interesting on that site was that it claimed that DoC was the third Final Fantasy VII spin-off. I found this exceedingly strange for I had not heard of a first or second spin-off... after running another google search, I came to hear that Advent Children is not just a DVD sequel to the original FFVII game, but also a a console game!!!!!!! 1UP.com explains itI suppose this would be the sequel everyone wants (though I think DoC is gonna be so awesome!)

Ya.. a sequel would be great, but it would be difficult for them to do. Especially when ppl expectations are so high from the original FFVII
