I know the (E) is out on rom sites, but I've been waiting on the (U) version. Is there any point to this wait, or should I just suck it up and get (E)?

A viable option would be opting out for the Japanese version. It features English language (like the previous YGO game), but the card art is uncensored. It might be interesting if you have ever wondered how the original card art looks like.
