[Mysterie]

I chose Charmander the first time I played Pokemon Red. I like starting with fire types.

Well, my first game was Pokémon Gold, so neither of these... But in Gold my first was Chikorita

I had a fondness for water pokemon and decided to go with squirtle for my first playthrough.

 

Eventually, my brother and I would get a link cable so we'd trade the starting pokemon over to one save file and then start the game with the ability to utilize all of the starters.  This is sort of pointless in retrospect I guess since most of the starters are rather weak in comparison to other pokemon like Alkazam, Mew, and ect. in the first generation.

I played Pokemon Yellow first so I have to say Pikachu. But when I played Red I chose Charmander just because Charizard is awesome.

Go charmander! It is the coolest looking one of them all, which i based on my first choice on. Later when I replayed though, I chose squirtle because charmander tends to be hard to raise and use at the beginning.

it was Bulbasur that i started with and they i plaid yellow, so you always get pikachu in that game.

Charmander I was so happy I lv. Him up to 30 before I left the first town

Technically, my first one was Charmander, but I never really used him. When I got Pokemon Stadium, I ended up liking Arcanine, and realized I would not need a fire type when I catch him in the old games.

 

Squirtle was the one I actually tried to beat the game with, so I went with that.

Bulbasaur was my first Pokémon only because he was fastest to level and trounced the first two gyms and it was always fun to use razor leaf on a fire pokemon
