I'm going to have to jump on the The World Ends With You bandwagon here. I picked it up on a whim and ended up loving it a lot. There was all that hype last summer that kind of became disappointing when it ended up just being for an iPhone port. I just want to see the story continued in some way, or even just another story set in the same world.
Game series you think should be continued

I love the Metroid games. I find there is nothing better for dealing with stress than slaughtering space pirates.
I'm not crazy, I'm Insane.
I'm not a freak, I'm Weird.
I'm not dumb, I'm Mental.
I'm not creepy, I'm Unnerving.
I'm locked inside my own mind....

I'd just say Metroid. But since I am pretty much from the old school gaming, I'd prefer the old side view 2-D platform games than the first person view new ones. Well, that's just me.

Definitely need a new metroid game. However I believe we need a new Star Fox game even more. I also think we need a good Kid Icarus game that isn't just some arcade shooter.

It's hard for me to pin down all of the franchises I would like to see have a sequal, but since this topic is in the current handheld section I'll try to limit myself to games that are centered in the handheld market.
1) Lost Magic: This little title on the DS invokes highly mixed feelings on my part. It combines the elements of a RTS with those of action RPG and tends to be alright in terms of combat mechanics, but suffers from several major flaws that hurt the game overall. I feel like this game does deserve a follow-up or prequel at the very least that hammers out the flaws of the original and improves upon it in every way.
2) My World My Way: This title on the DS follows the adventures of Elise a spoiled princess who goes on adventures in order to impress a boy in order to become his girlfriend. The game is just a lot of silly laughs in my opinion, and I'd love to see a follow-up that follows her continued adventures.
3) Summon Night: While there was a DS game for this franchise it deserves far more recgonition and attention that it has received over the years. Though, the DS game in my opinion is nowhere near as good as the GBA titles.
4) Bleach the 3rd Phantom: While Bleach has received a lot of attention over the years this spin-off title follows the adventures of two original characters and is tied into the main plot of the series, but what makes me interested in a sequel is that to my knowledge this game is the only SRPG based off of the Bleach franchise. I'd also hope that a sequel could address some of the balance issues that existed in the original game as well as balance out certain characters so that they weren't entirely useless.

Definatley megaman starforce. Battle network got 6 and starforce only gets 3? Starforce was much better imo.

Seiken Densetsu 3 should at least be ported in a best of Square collection. It's such a great game that it makes me sad that they never released in outside Japan... But they'll most likely remake the first one again...

Other. I'd personally like to see a sequel to Crystalis.

I also think that pokemon should stop creating new stuff, but improve on the previous generations, or even create a new one where all pokemon could be captured.

Fire Emblem and Golden Sun series. Maybe even Advance Wars too. Those were my most addicting series, ever.

I want more MegaMan, and it doesn't have to be something new, continuation of MegaManX, Zero and ZX would be nice

I would like to see another Megaman Zero series, they can make a prequel to the current MMZ series that was made for the GBA, The first Elf wars itself. There is a whole story available there, I think it would be pretty cool and it would tie in the MMX series as that came right before the Elf Series.
As for MM Starforce, I really enjoyed the 3rd one and imo that should have been the one they launched the series with. I do however wish that they mentioned the NT series somehow or tied it in to starforce. I thought that would have been so cool considering there were navis in the first one. The Noise wave was a really good concept, they really could have went further with that.
NT Series, I loved this series, I wish they continued it and introduced Zero into a MMBNT 7 as he was introduced in the Japanese TV show of it, imagine a Zero Soul. Could have even went so far as to introducing sigma as he was created after 0 and he would have made a cool NT boss.
MMZX should have made at least one more game, they left a cliffhanger at the end of the 2nd ZX...

The US hasn't seen a new DragonQuest since DQIX, and Japan hasn't since DQX. I really want a DQXI, especially on 3DS.

Advance wars, every game was just such an upgrade on the last, and made me spend a whole load of time on them.
(even days of ruin, enjoyed that immensely)

Boktai, hands down. 3 never made it to the states, and we did get a sorta sequel with Lunar Knights, but it wasn't the same.

But I really miss F-Zero and wish it would come back. GX for the GameCube was so fast and crazy and awesome!
I'd also love to see EVO revived. That game was so cool, getting to guide your little creatures' evolutions from a bitty fishy to a dinosaur all the way up to humans (but I never wanted to be human when I could be a badass flying death machine with massive horns!)

Actually? Advance Wars.
I sincerely believe that Advance Wars was just cut short with Days of Ruin - they decided that just going dark and evil was a great idea. And really, I just feel there's such a lost opportunity there. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game and the emphasis on the characters faced with real evil in a "realistic world".

I really wanna see another Rune Factory game in a few years. It was chock full of so many things to do with the RPG aspects combined with the gameplay of Harvest Moon games it made for some entertaining days.
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou: Cute girls + games = Win
