In the past, I bet there weren't any people who had thought that there would be Internet, nanotechnology etc.Every time I think of the future technology, I am excited. LOLWhat will you guys think that the future looks like? Such as using our mind to turn our computer on?

a apocalyptic world filled with nothing but broken down ruins and being enslaved by our iphones with 10g network using ipods as hound dogs tracking down every human alive. then when they capture us they put nanobots into our brain that sends their brainwaves to the master computer so they know exactly what we're thinking.

I Think The Future that awaits us DOOOOOOMSDAY!! i dont think we will reach a technology like cars flying or traveling to new planets i think life will probably end ...

The world is changing at an amazing rate nowadays. People are corrupt with hate, money and greed, it's only a matter of time before the greed of the leaders spins us out of control.Something needs to change about our 'leaders' or we will all pay the ultimate price. The outcome is very bleek right now.

War is always present as long as there are 2 sentient beings left in any planet. 30 or 40 years from now probably won't change much. Don't see any flying cars in the future, but possibly a car that runs on neither gas nor electricity would be more feasible. Only thing is for sure, computers we are using today, will not even be considered as low tech in the next 10 years.War. Uhh our future would be nothing... Everyone on the Earth would die in like 20 more years because the population is increasing and we'll run out of food and water soon. If we do somehow survive then there would be like teleporters and stuff

if u read some old sci-fi books...sry im not gonna list any. . Personally I have no idea what the future will be but I'm damn sure its going to be interesting...unless we fudge it up and blow up Earth somehow -_-

To be fair, there are already several proof of concepts and working models of "flying cars". So we're already there! I'm not sure how the world will be in 10/20/30 years' time (my, such a bleak and depressing view a lot of members have here), however, I'm quite sure we'll have another war or three, most likely to help drive the economy, peace and anti-terrorism are just side benefits. Aliens? Not yet, however scientists have relatively recently discovered that they potentially should be looking in a lot more places for life than they currently are. An obese Human race? Look at places like Australia, and America. I'm not being discriminatory, but we're getting closer and closer to this reality. Now, to put a positive spin on things, I believe current technology will have been improved upon drastically. I don't think we'll have portable holographic TV's, however in the next 10 to 20 years the current "Internet" will move over onto the IPv6 platform and we'll all be able to download in Terabits per second.

I imagine that eventually, we'll get tired of fighting each other and find us some aliens to pick a fight with. I'm hoping for the Mass Effect route, instead of the Halo route.
