(I did a quick search, and was surprised that nobody has made a thread about this yet) http://puu.sh/9dws <Insert Image Here, etc etc>

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls action role-playing video game series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It was released on November 11, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.Skyrim's main story revolves around the player character's efforts to defeat Alduin, the firstborn of Tamriel's primary deity Akatosh. Alduin is prophesied to destroy the world. Set two hundred years after Oblivion, the game takes place in the land of Skyrim, which is in the midst of a civil war after the assassination of the High King. The open world gameplay of the Elder Scrolls series returns in Skyrim; the player can explore the land at will and ignore or postpone the main quest indefinitely.

So far, I am having quite a bit of fun with this game. I'm playing as a Khajit 1H Swordsman/Archer/Mage/JackofallTrades. Currently I'm level 33, and I've sunk pretty much all my Stat rewards into Stamina for some reason. I bought it on PS3, since my PC is rather shoddy, and overall the experience is good. The only gripe I have with it so far is that there's a bug on the PS3 version which causes Framerate and Loading issues the longer you play. That being said, Bethesda's announced they'll be fixing it for once, so that's fine by me. I'm thinking I might post information and links to some of the best and most prominent PC version modifications to TES:Skyrim, as well. So who else has the ability to tear themselves away from this monstrous RPG?

I tried playing as a 1H/Mage/Jackofalltrades Orc, kinda you described it, but that kinda sucked :( the only good thing about that char was berserker rage. You deal 2x damage, but receive 0.5 damage. I tried playing as a mage, but also not my style. Too reliant on Magicka, and once enemies are closeup, you're dead. Now I'm playing as a thief/archer. I'm not high level yet, only in my mid 10's, but I can do some serious damage. A good stealth character can do 30x damage with a dagger XD

You've caused me to weep, you've caused me to mourn

You caused me to lose my home.

Yeah, it hasn't been that bad for me. Being capable in a wide number of skills makes the character more versatile in their approach with enemies. Usually I'll send off a Firebolt or five, then go in with my Daedric sword. If they aren't dead by then, my Magicka will have recovered enough to Fast heal myself so I can continue the process. Which isn't bad considering I've only got 160 HP.

I love skyrim, suprisingly i havent played it in a week, but i recently got my smithing to 100 and obtained full legendary dragon scale armor, im lvl 43.i like how this game connects the events of daggerfall and morrowind (you have to look for these easter eggs)and the fact that you get to return to labirythian, a major dungeon in the elderscrolls Arena.im not far in the story because i am trying to do EVERY THING at once, which is not the best idea.

Go big or go home. Because it's true. What do you have to lose?

Wait how long is the game? I mean actually playing it without mods. Does it take weeks of casual playing to actually beat it or only a few days?

I borrowed the game from my friend and I like it. Bit of bummer that you can't get any other speaking options from your spouse once you mrry them thou, also a bummer that in order to marry people from the companions you have to finish the questline and become a werewolf which stops you from getting the 'Lover's Comfort' sleeping bonus. :P other than that it is a quality game.
