Chance that it will download correctly: depends on your internet connection. If you have a decent, reliable connection It's near 100%.Chances of working:If you want it to, It'll work 99.9% of the time. All the ROMs we host are clean dumps- exact copies of the games on the cartridges. There's nothing wrong with them, It's just that your emulator or flashcart can't run them properly. If you're willing to do a bit of work though, You can get all of them to work. Just do this: Emulators:Make sure you have the latest version of your emulator. Make sure it uses the BIOS and Firmware. No$Zoomer and Desmume are the best NDS emulators right now.If you need help setting them up (including the BIOS and firmware part), Read here: http://www.dgemu.com...faq-and-guides/If it still doesn't work, Start looking for a patch (Explained a bit lower).(By now, You can post in your emulator's guide for help, There are probably others stuck like you so feel free to ask) Flashcart:Update your flashcart firmware to the latest version.Depending on your flashcart, you may be able to run an alternate firmware like Wood R4 (for R4s), YS Menu (Certain other flashcarts) or Akaio (Acekard). You should get all the help you need from the respective flashcart's user guide. Follow the links in http://www.dgemu.com...st__p__3744569'>this post. If you still have a problem (or any questions), Post in THAT topic.Done all of that? Well maybe it needs a patch.Patching:Many of the new games come out with anti-piracy measures. A lot of these are cracked within a week using patches.RetroGameFan's DS Scene ROM tool is a great tool. It'll update itself with the latest patches so you can patch your game and run it.If you can't get that one to work, Try Dictasia AP patcherAny questions?:Ask right here :)You probably had a problem that made you ask. Why don't you tell us what it was so we can help?Note: Our guides may be a bit outdated. If anyone reading uses one of the devices in question and can write us a quality guide, We'd appreciate it :)

It should be a simple copy - paste. You can either put it in the root (The place that appears when you open your micro-SD) Or in a subfolder to keep things organized. The game can still have anti-piracy measures which will stop it from running properly. What model R4 do you have and What firmware are you running?

It should be written on your flaschart or mentioned in the things which came with it.If you have a website on its label, Visit it for more info. You could also post pics so we can see and help you identify it. You should be able to see what firmware you are running according to the files in your MicroSD. There should be another way through the DS but i don't know how to do that :P You may have to unzip the ROM before copying it.

The file you download from DG will be a .zip file. You need a program like winzip or winRar or 7zip ( Get 7-zip here: http://www.7-zip.org/ ).With that, You can open the .zip file, Select the files and press the extract button. But I think windows has some sort of zip support. Just open the zip file and copy the .nds file into a separate folder. If you're having trouble doing all this, You may want to watch a youtube video on how to put ROMs onto your R4.

I've had no problems with the games I've downloaded from dgemu. Download the file, unzip it (I use zip central) and then drag & drop it on your card. The only issue I've had is that my cards (we own 3) didn't have the most up-to-date software on them to play the games . This has meant some of the latest games went to a black or white screen. Now we have the newest software & a patch update they all play :P

Yes, But we need to know:What flaschart/emulator you're using. What game you're running.Where you have the problem. What problem you have. If you can unzip the file properly, It probably downloaded correctly. So you won't have to download it again. If it's a black screen, It's usually fixed by updating your firmware OR patching. Answer the questions above and we'll be able to help you better.

When you download a game from dgemu, it's compressed, this means that you have to extract it before you can play the game. All of our files that are hosted on the site (this means the main site, not the download center) are compressed as *.zip files. By default, windows xp and up can extract zip files. To extract zip files, select the file that you want to unzip and right click on it. After that choose the option "extract all" after choosing this, just follow the instructions given to you. After that the zip file is extracted and you will get a few things: a html file, an nfo file, a jpg file and the nds file. The html file and nds file are always included, the others are optional. The nds file is your game, the html file lets you know what site you downloaded the game from, the nfo file gives you some info on the game (you can open it with the notepad) and the jpg file is a screenshot. If you do not have the option to extract all, or if you're on a lower windows version than xp, you can install either 7zip or peazip to extract it.
