i dont really get why this would be needed.if you bought windows 7 you are given a guide in the case (like the one i have).and wouldnt customer support or using google answer this?

If you're one of those that bought Windows 7 and have lost your DVD, this would be more than useful instead of paying a good 40$ to Microsoft for them to send you a new disc.It's also useful in the case that you buy a laptop, but forgot to create your recovery discs and got your computer wiped by a virus or suffered a hard drive failure. You would be stuck buying the discs again.

Although we're an emulation site, we're promoting all sorts of different articles and writings, hopefully of use to our members.Back in the days, we had anti-virus recommendations, PC troubleshooting topics, and much more.
