Identical problem. I'm stuck at route 4. How to solve this problem?Hi, i downloaded the patched white 2 and using desmume 0.9.8
now i stucked at route 4 (after bug gym) where a proffesor (?) use a device to move the pokemon with a boulder at its back
It stuck at conversation with the prof, right after he/she (@@?) said dunno my name then the conversation just blank (i stucked here!).
but the background music and the sandstorm thingy is working.

Good news for Galaxy Eagle i users! I found a YSMenu that works with GEi courtesy of a random commentor from some random website I forgot.
This also enables the patched Pokemon Conquest ROM to work.
Sakamoto-san awarded 1000GPs for this post.
- Click here to download YSMenu for GEi
- Extract the files using WinRar/7zip.
- Delete all GEi firmware files from your microSD. (The '_SYSTEM_' folder and the _DS_MENU.DAT file)
- Copy the extracted files over to the root of your MicroSD
- Run patched ROM
- Enjoy!
This also enables the patched Pokemon Conquest ROM to work.

File Factory hates me. I had to keep trying to download it for like hour because it said I had research my download limit or something...

The ROM can be downloaded from DGEmu, while the patch can be downloaded straight from pokestation itself (use "bug" as the username and "menot" as the password, when prompted to login). Once done, extract the ROM, the patch, and xdeltaUI from their respective zip files, and use the xdeltaUI to patch the ROM. It's all p simple reallyy.

You've also got my link on filefactory that doesn't require login to pokestation to get the patch.
As for people having issues with FileFactory: download limit exceeded is usually more prominent for anonymous users.
You could always register a free account, not only will that slightly reduce wait times, but also allow you to get 500gb of storage.

I just got the translated patch for black 2 and it runs great except the touch screen part doesn't show anything during regular travel. It doesn't show the options, pokemon, or bag and other stuff. I'm using the desmume emulator.

Thanks for the feedback! Yup, DeSmuME 0.9.8 is pretty much the recommended emulator here, instead of its previous versions.Using DeSmuME 0.9.6 will NOT save the game! It works, but it doesn't save.

Molh is it worth playing? the language patch I mean, is it good quality? And when further patches come out will I have to start all over again? I've never had to patch one before so forgive my ignorance....

It's not *verryy* good now, as it is still incomplete, but I'd still say that it is worth getting! The game is certainly playable, even if you miss out on many of the conversations (many of which were untranslated, at least in the v2.1 I was playing).
No, you won't have to start over: you'll just have to rename your save (.dsv) and savestates (.ds1, .ds2, etc) to the same filename as your new patched rom (or vice versa).
