DS Lite is the best. I've spent the most hours on it than anything else..even the Gameboy from my childhood years!

Well, my DS Lite since it has way a lot of nice games, the same as the GameBoy Advance. And I am still looking to try a PSP, it's just that I personally don't find many games that I like though.

I think the biggest problem for the Vita is that it has a rather limited library of games at this point.

I'll have to go with the GBA, PSP, and DS.  All three of these handhelds have a lot of quality games and series attached to them.

I used to play on the Lynx, but my library was rather limited and many of them games weren't that enjoyable either.  The system also went through batteries rather quickly because it had a backlight, but wasn't all that efficient in terms of using power.

The Gameboy Advance to me was just lovely. Will always cherish that oddly shaped handheld, *tear*

For me it's always been a Nintendo grabbag. As a child I was amazed by the Sega Gamegear's color graphics, but the first system I owned for any serious amount of time- or which was truly mine, was a Gameboy, and soon thereafter a gameboy color. It was a Gameboy Advance that even got me to learn the value of a dollar (Well that and Pokemon) and to save money, because my grandparents gave me an allowance and docked cash from me for everything I forgot to do or did incorrectly, 1$ per thing from a 10$ allowance.

 

The affection I had for the GBA has stuck with me, and so has the affection for Pokemon- which is why I've got a 3DS XL, a DSi, an original DS, and a Gameboy SP even now- and continually try to teach my brother that they've got good games too, even if he's firmly entrenched in the PSP field.

Original GB and GB colour were soooo cool, I really want a retro grey GB

I guess I've always been a Nintendo man. I started out with the original grey brick of a gameboy. Later on I got a GBA SP, DS Lite, DSi, and 3DS.
The only non Nintendo handheld I've had was my Dingoo A320 pocket emulator.

Nowadays I have emulators ranging from Atari 2600 to to the Nintendo DS on my phone and, along with a few awesome Android ports like GTA San Andreas and my clip-on Moga controller, it's become the best handheld gaming decide I've ever had.

So unless Nintendo or Sony have something really wild planned, the 3DS is likely the last dedicated gaming handheld I'll own.

Nothing comes close to me and my DS Lite but I still find gameboy games interesting intheir own way.

I played my DS more than anything else, but my favorite would probably be my Gameboy advanced SP because it was my first handheld.
