Did any of you watch Nickelodean or TBS or Disney or PBS Kids in the 90s or early 2000? Shows like Catdog, Rocket Power, Wild Thornberrys, Kim Possible, Proud Family, The Amanda Show, Kenan and Kel, The Rugrats, Arthur, Dragon Tales, etc?

I feel so sad that television for children these days is nothing like the ones I watched as a child. What were your favorites in the past? I'm curious :)

I used to watch Dexter's Lab, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, the Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, and the like. Then I went to college and they didn't have the channels in the dorms, so I stopped watching television altogether.

Lol I still watch Pokemon, and I just remembered another good one. Tom & Jerry was another of my favorites. I always rooted for Tom, that he'd finally catch Jerry.

Yeah, Tom is kinda like the Trix rabbit. He never ever gets what he wants.

Those kids around the Trix rabbit were so rude too. I'm pretty sure that even if he bought some cereal that the kids would take it from him.

And don't forget the Lucky Charms Leprechaun. He couldn't rest for a minute before the kids were after him again.

At home, we didn't get cable until I was 14, so I was stuck with the PBS cartoons and whatever was on FOX for a couple hours, plus the obligatory Saturday morning cartoons on Fox, CBS, and ABC. Buuuut whenever I went to my grandparents' house I watched Nickelodeon and the Disney channel. Some random favorites, in no particular order:

Bobby's World

Muppet Babies

Garfield & Friends

Rugrats

Rocko's Modern Life

Doug

Inspector Gadget

Eek! The Cat

Tiny Toon Adventures

Animaniacs

Reboot

Pepper Ann

Recess

You'll have to find old episodes in syndication then.......Sheri Lewis has been dead since 1998, thus why you can't find the show anymore. :( (I loved that show too, and that's why I remember specifically when Sheri passed, since I was pretty crushed over it. She wasn't even that old.)

Wow...tough choices.  My favorites were definitely Doug (from Nick) Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Pepper Ann, and even the Weekenders.  I'm really am a 90's kid since I had way too many good choices to choose from.

Same here. I almost feel the shows in those days were better than the ones today. Don't get me wrong, I think there are still some good shows here and there on tv nowdays.

Yes, I watched alot of those shows you mentioned, and my favorite (for some odd reason) was Doug (Hey Arnold is a close close second). Seeing this thread...makes me feel like a grandpa remembering all the good times.
