Maple Story by Nexon is easily my favorite free game; there's another game called O2 Jam, a piano keyboard DDR game played on the computer keyboard, that I loved too.

For me one of the best ones I have seen is Battle for Westnoth. I'm really bad at it but it is a beautifully executed RTS game. I'm highly surprised it is free.

Best free would be runescape, it's ok, but almost never play puzzle pirates. Seriously. U go around on ship and play puzzles to earn PoE, and can't even sail your own ship UNLESS you subscribe! I mean, comon!

Among that, I also found "Mind Tree". It's a game that can be played in an internet browser and is similar to Brain Age or Big Brain Academy. It tests you in different areas. The graphics are great, too.Upon further review, the Mario Forever series is decent, but there's definetly room for improvement. Still, I reccomend it if you like the classic 2-D mario games (and who doesn't?)

It isn't free..... Tiberian DAWN is the free one, also known as C&C 95.Tib Sun is C&C 2, Tib wars is C&C 3.But yeah, with the release, C&C 95's my faveFor the moment it has to be Tiberium Wars from Command and Conquer.

i love all intresting online games. i especially love flame vs metal. its a side scrollling game based on the fullmetal alchemist anime.

Yeah Cave Story is a really good game i just played it Yesterday because i heard in this forum... lol.... it is a very nice game.like the topic sez, what is your favorite free PC game?mine would have to be... Cave story! (aka doukutsu monogatari), a really cool 2d platformer kinda like the 2d metroid games.(post links to your game as well, im looking for the site where i got this game)

My favourite free game is LF2 (little fighter 2), it is totally addictive and is really great for modding because it's so easy.
