I finally got my own account! (I've been mooching off my brother's account forever)

So I've been playing the same games for awhile, I'm looking for something new to play...

Any favorite games of yours you'd recommend?  :)

also being low in DPs

Eh, that depends on what kind of games you're looking for.

Some of my favourites (pretty much all RPG's), with the games typed bold being my biggest favourites:

- all the Pokémon games (including the Mystery Dungeon series)

- both the Legend of Zelda games (Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks)

- Golden Sun Dark Dawn

- the Mario and Luigi RPG's (Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story)

- all the Final Fantasy games (with FF Fables Chocobo Tales being my personal favourite, even though it's very un-Final Fantasy-ish)

If you're looking for something else than an RPG, I'd recommend:

- (Super) Scribblenauts

- the Phoenix Wright series

- the non-RPG Mario games are pretty fun too

Sheesh, I don't know, there's so many of them. I most definitely forgot several. Maybe I'll add a few later if I can come up with some more.

Anyway, just give those I named a try if you haven't played them already =)

From The Abyss is pretty cool. I actually have an official copy but it was only about 10 DPs when I checked to see if they were missing it or not today.

Moving to the correct forum .... (not Emulation related)

Also are you using a different computer and internet connection from your brother?  Rules state you must NOT share the same IP Address .....

A few posts of yours were short so GPs were deducted, keep that in mind for the future.

And .... I understand you meant you wanted recommended games that are low in cost (for DPs), but someone thought you were begging for DPs, just choose words carefully for that stuff lol

It all depends on what your interested in to be honest.  If I don't know what your into I honestly can't recommend anything since I wouldn't know if you'd enjoy it or not.

I guess, in terms of general recommendations I could toss out Sands of Destruction and Infinite Space but neither game is that cheap in terms of DP and Infinite Space goes over 100 DPs.  Though, that shouldn't be that big of a deal if you can wait a week or more between downloads and Infinite Space is a rather lengthy game if you get into it.

Hmm...I don't know what to recommend for low GP games, but I think you should try the Megaman series. There's the Megaman Zero collection, which is the 4 Zero games from the gameboy, I believe. Also try the Starforce series too. The other games I'd recommend are already said by the earlier posters, but yeah. You should try and tell us what kind of games you like, such as the genre to help us narrow down the games we could recommend.

Let's start with the "Low DPs" thing.  If you like Sudoku?  There seem to be plenty.

Now, let's talk about quality, shall we?

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team - if you're looking to save on DPs, get Red Rescue Team on this one.  But here's the thing - Pokemon + Roguelike.  Dungeon crawling with Pokemon alone should grab you.  The fact that it just happens to have the highest number of "preview" pokemon in any game might help too.

Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Conquest - Twists on the Pokemon formula.

Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors; Ace Attorney Series; Trauma Center: Under The Knife Series: All of these are "light novels", and I enjoy playing through the story.  The game is pretty darn good too.

Advance Wars: They're great.  Pick up Days of Ruin if you like post-apocalyptic stories, or Dual Strike if you've played 1 & 2 (and why wouldn't you?  Just download 'em!)

I have more suggestions, but those should get you going.  PM me if you want some details!!

Dragon Quest IX
Long RPG with a quirky sense of humor, fully customizable characters, TONS of sidequests, and a nicely streamlined battle system compared to previous games in the series.
The online part of it is no longer supported, but that's not at all necessary to enjoy this gem.
