Just something interesting when I ask people that. I will give my opinion in this too, so hey I go.

I will try something new each 80 years like the knowledge of all kind of jobs people or enjoy what can people do when they are a mortal being because death meant nothing to immortal, so I can experience everything until I reach the point where I am began to be so bored over everything.

I would make myself a sick, demented person.

So when I fake my death in front of people, it will never get old.

Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

I would do crazy stunts that would kill me otherwise. Jump off the entire state building. Surf on lava. Fist fight some tigers. The list goes on.

Play video games for the next 1000 years. On my 1001 bday, try to find the meaning of life...

Well it depends on the type of immortality. for example if you still age but can never die, I would see that more as a curse as you can get so crippled by time that your body will become useless. But if it is immortal in the sense of aging stops then you can still die, you just don't die from something like a heart attack. (eternal youth) or maybe all wounds heal nearly instantly (and I mean all... like regrow your entire body from just your head or regrow a head from your body... or just reform from just a pool of your own pureed remains...) the question is really way to open ended to fairly answer as it is hard to determine the form of immortality being discussed. So maybe a clarification is in order.

If I had eternal youth with an immunity to diseases, I would probably do nothing different than I do now. If I could reform from becoming street pizza, I would probably go through life going into normally fatal situations (like running into a burning building to save some one) but would still hate the pain I would go through in the process. just eternal life without eternal youth... I would be quick to find a way to end it before I got too incapable of doing anything in general.

can you tell I've overthought this sort of situation?

I would probably abuse the gift of immortality. Given the ideal version of immortality, there are no consequences. I might try to use it to help people I care about. But as they die, I'd just stop caring and become completely amoral. Maybe I'd eventually act intentionally immoral, so as to unite people against me. And thereby achieving world peace. Or something.

It would eventually get boring.... I imagine I would become super down and become a villain.
But before thennnn, I'd maybe cash in on being immortal. Become a celebrity so I may be rich and be able to travel using that money Lol

Expose myself to the media, submit myself to the government for experimentation, get paid for my contribution to humanity.

See the world, work where I wanna (I'd get hired eventually) buy everything I've wanted and enjoy life

Till I've done all I could ever do,

Then find a way to end it all, can't be happy forever when immortal you'll eventually get tired of out living those you care for

First I will have to save a lot of money for maybe 50 years. Put it in the bank and live off the interest.

Of course, maybe every 10 to 20 years I will need a new identity and move to a new place.

Once I save enough money and have means to get new identities, I will start traveling the world and learn all the different languages.

Go to school in all the advance countries and study all the topics I am interested in.

And I guess that would be maybe the first 200 years? There is always something new to learn, but I think after 200 years I most likely learned a lot.

Not sure what I will do next...

Hmm...If I was immortal, I'd just play all the games I want, watch all the shows I want, but mostly stay at home. I don't like going outside, unless there's something I want out there.
