I have played a few digimon and many pokemon games for me to like but i like to know which games you would also like and your opinion about them.

I never played digimon but have played many pokemon games such as pokemon diamond, platinum, mystery dungeon, ranger, crystal, rumble, stadium, black, black 2, and x. Im getting omega ruby when it comes out. I don't really have a favorite, as I like them all.

I played digimon a little bit when I was a little kid, but I play pokemon alot. My favoriet game is platinum.

A difficult question... Pokémon is easy to get into and easyish to play compared to Digimon, but if you can get around that curve a bit, the Digimon games, particularly the DS games, is very fun and just as engaging. I think it's more down to personal preference more than anything else.

 

For me, Pokémon just feels a bit more fluid for me, and it's something I can easily pick up where I left off even after months away from it. That and it's not helpful that Digimon hasn't been coming to the EU at all...

you are right the digimon lost evolution,xros wars red and blue if they were launched it would be better to try out the game as i enjoyed the previous games.

I found the actual Pokemon anime very un-interesting even as a child, but the actual Pokemon games very playable and engaging, and appeal to a broad age demographic. That's probably why they were were so popular and continue to be so. 

Digimon on the other hand had a much more interesting anime in my opinion but no game titles have really stuck out to me.

i never played any digimon games however...........

 

Pokemon games are always a lot of fun due too the amount of control you have on your team makeup and the individual that comprise said team.

 

For example, take a pokemon such as charmander, its a fire type that is strong against grass yet weak to water.

 

BUT

 

you can teach charmander thunder punch which is an electric type move that is strong against water!\

 

with this ability your charmander now has a surprise to use against a findly foe suck as tentacruel!

 

All this strategy requires is a bit of extra speed and special attack WHICH YOU CAN TRAIN FOR USING THE EV SYSTEM!

 

pokemon is a great game.

Pokemon in my opinion
The game is good for casual but if u put time into it, UT can become really strategic
