In FFX-2, I just beat chapter 2, and in chapter 3 I died on my first (well... OK... 2nd..) Battle!I average at around LVL 29Any help? I lost to a Ryhos, if that is it's name, some big red chimera thing.and in FFX, I'm stuck on Seymour Flux... (Who isn't?)Stupid cross cleave...Any advice?EDIT: Quick note... Please, PLEASE don't tell me to level up... that's almost impossible in FFX-2 now that I can't beat a Gemini without Floral Fallal

Dont ever rely on the special dressspheres I quit my old game because I was lv32 on Chapter 5. Then I restarted and didn't use them. Try to get Dark Knight dresssphere. On Seymour Flux you need pretty high health. I cant remember which battle with Seymour it is so i cant help that much.

For ffX you can try leveling up a bit before the fight. When you are in it use protect and don't be afraid to use your mega elixirs if you have some. Also (repeating myself over and over) use the aon trick: fill up every aeons gauges to the max and use all their overdrives on the boss. (be sure to refill all of them after the fight so you can use it against the next boss)

I thought I said don't say that... and any time I cast Protect The turns go like this :PSeymour Flux uses Dispel!Mortichiris uses Cross-Cleave!GAME-OVER!Next boss?! ^_^ And how in the *insert word here* am I supposed to use Aeons if they keep getting banished? And in FFX-2, The fight against Bahamut was... easier than expected... And afterwards "Friendly Neighborhood Gullwings" Decided to go to lake Macalania, and get their [insert word here] kicked by a Thundaga-abusing Rhyos! So tell me, what do I do...?And no, I don't use SDSPs in the way you think...I use Floral Fallal, and between attacks use Libra to make sure the Fiends Don't Die, when they are about to, I "turn off" the special dressphere, and everyone gets the EXP.

You don't understand do you?The aeon trick works because when you summon, you always have the first turn. So just before Seymour banishes your aeons you have the time to use their limit break because it is already filled up. You get it now? It doesn't matter if Seymour banishes them since he can only do it after your aeons attacked. So just get out there to fill these gauges and don't forget that the FIRST thing you must do when they are summoned is to use their overdrives or they will be wasted.(Oh and I forgot he had dispel)

After I do use Overdrives, he uses banish, and everyone has to wait. Example:Bahamut uses Mega-Flare(Or something llike that)Flux uses BanishMortichiris uses That Draining thing on FluxFlux uses DispelI say -Insert Word Here-I use Haste on YunaShe uses ProtectMortichiris uses Cross CleaveThe EndMassive delay time after Aeon overdrive... heh... And that ^^ Is not EXACTLY what happened... I used Tidus' overdrive... Auron is too slow...

Ok I see the problem here: You need hastega. And if you don't have it when you reach Seymour Flux that means you are too low in lvls.Level up in gagazet until you get it and cast hastega as soon as he cast dispel. also each time that yuna has a turn use your aeons don't worry about protect. Use your mega elixirs after he uses cross cleave. And if you can't resist even one cross cleave that means you really don't have enough HP so just level up more (thats the basic key to beat every FF bosses).

if you're playing ffx-2 and you don't have the dark knight dressphere you'd have a lot of problems so if you're having problems at a low lvl in the game without it i'd suggest you start over and get it. Can't remember how so i'd suggest you check gamefaq if you want it.

Look if your really getting handled that much by mt gagazet seymour you have a problem, the aeons should take care of him in only a matter of turns, id suggest running around the save sphere before that fight a lot if your getting owned, i mean the only explanation is your too slow or have non-existant defense, try using cheer with tidus that can help and i dont think it can be dispelled.

at X-2 use yuna floral fella only at hard fights like medium sisters and the chimera ( and on chapter 5 i thought those dude of mt.gagazet) floral fella will help you kill fast and get exp. but always train other dressspheres to cause its fun in new game+ to be fast

I don't remember much from FFX, but I do remember that you can customize your weapons... If you have the right items (the items that you get from the Calm Lands) such as Chocobo Wings which give you Auto Haste or something like that... or you can do what Zan said and teach someone Hastega. However, if you search around you can find good items to put into your weapons for things such as Health and defence and whatnot. Also on a side-note, I think I'd always take out that Morticon thingy first and then smacking Seymour left and right, and repeated that until I won... Other tricks could be lower his defence or something though I think it'd be a waste of a turn.

In FFX, EVERYThing revolves around training.. No matter what, YOU HAVE TO DO iT or you won't we able to move on to the next part of the game.. I learned that the hard way and can't get past Sin Overdrive , Giga Graviton Cannon, if only we had that skill.

on final fantasy 10, be sure to have streght +5,+10,+15,+20 on your weapons and average stats over 75. use haste and protect...and overdrives of course (bahamut should work very very very well)on final fantasy x-2 train with gunners only, or 2 gunners and a white mage or warrior or dark knight.

In FFX ... TRAIN... that's about all you can do. While tatics play into it, if you're strong enough then what you do doesn't really matter. In FFX-2 well.... make sure you don't run from a lot of fights and avoid using the specials. At least till you get your ** handed to you by the Magus Sisters (PURE EVIL)

I don't really play X-2 but in X when fighting that boss my main character to use is Rikku, her Super might G helps a ton, and throwing items like Fire gem, Water Gem, etc. average about 2500 damage for each one....or 1500 i can't remember, anyway still a pretty good average for a character who's turn comes up often with haste. if you don't have any, fire gems are really easy to steal from the flans in the plains, and the bomb-ombs on gagazet i think.

FFX - It's pretty simple, turn Yuna into a tank. I had Tidus, Auron and Yuna, Tidus cast Hastaga and Attacks with the odd cheer his way of getting his overdrive should be set to warrior use Hastaga first then use his overdrive, Auron attacks and is another tank which uses Hi-Potions and Potions. same as Tidus set to warrior and use his overdrive at the start of the battle, Yuna should be on her overdrive as well as your other aeons so spend your time getting their overdrive up. As soon as possible use Protect and Shell on Yuna and if you want Tidus or Auron, once Tidus and Auron have used their overdrive up use Yuna' and select an Aeon you haven't raise the overdrive of, finally one by one use everyone of your Aeons overdrive remembering to heal and protect and sheel yourselfs sooner or later you'll defeat... sadly for me I didn't beat him, his own leech did :)FFX-2 - Use Items that can raise your Strength and you Defense for me I had Yuna as a Warrior, Rikku as a White Mage and Paine as a Black Mage level them up so they have the first level of magic they can get then switch them around until they all can cast heal. If I remeber right as a warrior you should be able to use the abilities of the white and black mages. If not then stick to the warrior, white mage and black mage combo until you feel more confident to change dress spheres, I know you don't want people telling you it, but the main part of the FF RPG is to become stonger by training and leveling up... with exception of FF8. It my be a boring task but it's worth it. oh yeah if you do certain missions for Tobli you'll find on the mission when you have to find Tobli he'll give you and item that doubles exp gained like the Lady Luck Dress Sphere, also something just reminded me of a good tip, if you have alot of Gems, any will do, have any of the girl where the Alchemist Dress Sphere and mix a [something] gem with holy water. It is for FFX-2. The magical outcome looks like Holy and does alot of damage. I hope this helps you in some way. :)

FFX - before the battle makes sure all of yuna's summons have their' overdrive and add zombie proof or zombie ward to your armour. In the battle use yuna, tidus and auron, tidus using hastage start away nd auron attacking the wierd little thing next to seymour, it has a lower defence and you can kill it quicker, it then takes life from seymour. Yuna uses shell, protect, cura and esuna if you do turn into a zombie. Tidus uses quick hit occasionally or just normal attack, when his life is down to 30,000ish start to use the summons as seymour banishs them as soon as you use the overdrives.FFX-2 - just realised you meant the dragon thing. Equip all girls on the heart of flame sphere grid, i think it reduces or eats fire attacks, meaning less damage to you. Have all girls as warriors and keep hitting him with ice brand, and occassionaly healing. I think he has a certain order to his attacks, i think its fire attack, fire attack and then leg sweep.

For the Final Fantasy X thing, I suggest you get all of your overdrive gauges filled, for both the party members and the aeons. Then, save your data before you fight Seymour, in case you die, so you don't have to get their gauges up again. Anyway, start out with Yuna, Tidus, and Wakka, if he has Attack Reels, in your party. Otherwise, use Lulu or Auron. and summon an Aeon, and use the Aeon's Overdrive, which should be available. You should probably use Bahamut's Overdrive first, because with a Mega Flare, the Mortis should be gone. Then, Seymour will probably kill Bahamut. After that, just summon another Aeon with Yuna, and if it's Overdrive bar is full, which it should be, it should be able to use it's Overdrive and do some good damage. Repeat this method until Seymour is dead, or until the Aeons are all dead. In that case, Your two characters besides Yuna should have their Overdrives ready to use, and if you use those, Seymour should die. If not, you seriously need to level up your characters and get them stronger, because you won't get much farther. Basically, the trick is to use your Aeons as shields, and it works well. I hope I was able to help.

I know everyone says to trian, but in this game, (FFX) you have to train smart. I would recommend sending your top three people through Tidus', Aurons', and if you want to, Wakkas' areas, but Aurons i the most important because he has most of the STR spots. Good luck.

I actually haven't played FFX-2...but In FFX I beated up Seymour quite easily...you may want to have Lulu knowing Bio, since seymour is vulnerable to poison it takes a L-O-T of HP out of him... Zombie Ward is an optional...as long as you have a bunch of Phoenix Down or Holy Waters you should be ok in that aspect. Hastegta is also a must and having Auron with an orverdrive is also good since his Shooting Star deals a lot of damage too...and the best solution to a cross cleave is counter with a Mega Phoenix...and if your party gets killed after just one cross cleave...sorry to say that but you'll have to train more... Yuna is important in this fight...have every aeon in it's respective overdrive, they take 9999 HP out of both bosses, then you'll have to add Mortiorchis' drain. That's pretty much all I can help withThere is also a glitch I gound at www.gamefaqs.com wich says that if you cast dispel on Seymour when he casts reflect on himself he might cast flare on himself by mistakeHope it helped :)

Restart your ffx-2 game because you should be level 40 by the time you hit chapter 3..Also I believe Seymour flux is the boss at Gagazet yes? haha all I can say is dont be lazy and Level up.. Otherwise get Yojimbo and pray for Zanmato.
