i caught all the legendaries that arent random... i didnt haf to use masterball or ultra ball for raquaza, i didnt haf great balls so i used pokeball

I was playing Pokemon Gale of Darkness...and fighting the guy with Shadow Zapdos, Moltress and Articuno...I had Moltress to yellow; tried one Ultra Ball and caught it..the others weren't so easy, but I didn't use a Master BAll on any of them except Lugia...

Yeah i have caught all the legendary pkmn except for mew without a masterball, i had to use it.lol.

Yea sure ive caught acouple like Articuno lower his health down and then sleep powder then use and greatball or a ultraball i caught him with great <_<Now Raqauza was the hardest one i ever had to catch, now i had to saved in front of him i only had 10 ultraballs his health very hard to lower, paralize then lower his special attack then ultraball him to death

who are you kidding 10 ultras and 10 timers??? I must have used at least 50 ultras w/ a false swiper and a sleep condition minumum on each, once i ran out of ultras and caught rayquaza w/ a great ball... fun times

Of the Legendary Pokemons I got lucky catching Rayquaza with a Poke Ball. He was sleep and i threw a poke ball and poof!!! I got him! Lucky eh?

I cheated on emulator. Save on when throwing and see the result, I did this on moltres and zapdos in LeafGreen.

I've caught all the Legendaries with just Ultra Balls. The Steel Regi took 23 of them --''' but I still did it. If I killed it I just started over. Same with the Steel one, it took me 3 restarts to finally get it on the 24th Ultra Ball. The others were a lot easier, around the 5th or 6th one. I always save the Master ball for the Latios, Latias or the three er dog-cats. So much eaiser that way.

I rarely had to use the masterball. I usually just used Ultra, Great and the speciality balls.

yes you just have too keep lowering the pokemons defence using leer and then put it too sleep

I have a friend who caught a Rayquaza on Sapphire...without cheating. He got lucky.

u can catch any legend with normal pokeballs honestly its not that hard ...first need to put it to sleepconfuse rayfalse swipe so it has 1 hpwith that u have like a 5-10% chance of catchingpokeballs work better if u know the mechanics of the game u would knowrepeatballs might be a good choice and fast balls for the dogs

i dont use masterball unless i absolutely had to, maybe its just me but i found that you have better chance of catching legendaries if you dont have master ball on you. like one time, i was trying to catch groudon in ruby but then i realize i have no ultraball, no master, just pokeballs, netballs, and greatballs, so i sleep it, confuse it, got it down to yellow health and i went crazy with the ball, caught it on 3rd ball thrown which was a great ball.

Yeh, mostly ultra balls when they are low hp & have a status problem such as sleep or freeze

Hey i also got a mewtwo w/ a pokeball nad with his hp only in half. I always try to catch legendaries with other balls other than masterball except for latios/latias damn their hard to catch! 
Anyway I caught regice,regirock,registeel, groudon/kyogre, rayquaza, and ho-uh with buyable balls.

Asdfasfasf. It is DAMN hard to catch any legendary pokemon DX I tried like 15 times to catch Kyogre but it always dies on me, because my pokemon are too strong and... yeah.. *sigh* Thanks to everyone who gave advice here >_< I was running out of options.
