I dont remember most of them before Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. But in R/S/E I caught all 3 legendaries with Ultras. Rayquaza took the longest in Ruby (aprox. 80 or 90 ultras) ^_^ .

My cousin used a pokeball to catch mewtwo... It's easier to catch if you make the pokemon sleep.

Wow, it's been a while since I even played pokemon. IIRC, I caught the majority of them with an ultra ball and managed to save my Master Ball for the lvl 70 one in each game. Emerald was the only one that I actually had a little difficulty since all three, IIRC, were lvl 70.

I caught Rayquazza, Groudon, Kyogre, Regice, Latios with an Ultra Ball. And I caught Mewto with a Master Ball. On the other legendaries pokemon I failed to catch because i dunno.

Just use sleep and confuse and capture at red bar. This is where Drowsy comes in handy. However, be smart and save before trying.

Quick question for all those pokemon fans out there. All those Legendary pokemon out there... Ho-Oh, Kygouge, Mewtwo, Zapados, etc... have you EVER caught any one of these without having to use a masterball? I've tried OFTEN, but even at my best attempt, Groudon lost all its PP (no jokes please), and just struggled to death. I went through 10 timer balls and 10 ultra balls, and Groudon had as little power as it could have had, especially after it struggled. I've had this simular problem with just about every other legendary pokemon out there, so I'm just wondering has ANYONE ever caught one without masterballing it?

okay, first of all, is it even possible to catch mewtwo without using the masterball? i did manage to catch suicune in the pokemon colloseum for the gamescube using a net ball however. other than that, i end up killing the legends usually or i use the masterball.... :'(

The only time I've ever used a Master Ball in the history of my Pokemon gaming is when Suicune, on of the legendary dogs suddenly showed up in a patch of grass in Crystal. All the other legendary one-of Pokemon: Mewtwo, Mew, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Ho-oh, Lugia, Raikou, Entei, the Regis, Groudon, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Deoxys, Jirachi and Rayquaza were caught using Ultra balls. Although I managed to catch Ray with a Great Ball in Emerald. :blink:There are very efffective Pokemon at catching legendaries, in Emerald I used a Vileplume with sleep powder, stun spore, solar beam and false swipe. I used all of the moves until the legendary had 1 HP left, was asleep and paralysed. Then 3-8 ultra balls did the job.

This post is a lie because you can not give a pokemon 2 status problems - like a pokemon cant have a burn and be poisoned. Or anything like that. SIMPLE!! :D
