i've caught most of them with ultra balls. it helps to get a scyther and use false swipe on them until they only have 1 hp left cause then they can't die from it and then paralyze them and put them to sleep.

i caught a articuno with a pokeball when it was like 1-5 health confused and asleep i turn away from killing itselfI think it's impossible!

Well....I had only required ONE pokemon a.k.a. Minun to catch Kyogre with a Greatball. And it was pretty easy to catch Groudon since all of my pokemon were above lvl.50 and used Ultraball to catch it. In case of Mewtwo I simply used an average Pokeball(believe it or not) The fight was useless. Mewtwo was sooo weak and same goes to Zapdos, Moltress and Articuno(altough it took me long time to find Articuno 
) Suicune the most simplest got it with a Pokeball in 1 try. Guess I've never used anything greater than Ultraball. No Premiereball, Timeball, Nestball, Masterball or Heavyball

dude i caught all my legendarys with timer balls..only latias with master cause it rans..i recomend you to freeze or put to sleep

i caught all of the legendary pokemon in pokemon emerald....i only used ultra balls...........sometimes pokeball!!!

i have caught Raykuaza, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos and also Ho-oh with only ultra-balls. The other legendary ones i coudn't caught them, i don't know why maybe they are just too strong. lol
Even with the announcement of new Halo projects, the principal trilogy won't be forgotten from our minds as fast as we may expect...

its acctually pretty easy:PMasterballing? I hope there was no pun there either. I firmly believe it is possible to catch ANY Pokemon with any pokeball other than the Master Ball. After all, the way the game(s) was originally made there were only one or two ways of earning a Master Ball without cheating. Had Game Freaks intended that a certain Pokemon or a certain group of Pokemon couldn't be caught without using the Master Ball, then don't you think that there would be a way to acquire more Master Balls without cheating? The criteria, I believe, for successfully catching a Pokemon are that your lead Pokemon must have one or more attributes that are higher than the Pokemon that you wish to catch, the Pokemon that you wish to catch must be PARALYZED/SLEEP/WEAK or some condition that would render it impossible for the intended Pokemon to escape. The intended Pokemon must have a low evasion factor, etc. It is possible to catch a legendary Pokemon with an Ultra Ball or a Premier Ball, etc. However, the lower you get in quality of pokeball (towards the Poke Ball), the harder, if not difficult it gets to catch a legendary with one. However, do you really want to waste time with maybe going through 999,999 unsuccessful attempts to capture Deoxys with a Poke Ball, just to have a success with the 1,000,000th Poke Ball? If you really have that kind of time to do this, then go ahead and try. Most people prefer the more direct and quicker route.Quick question for all those pokemon fans out there. All those Legendary pokemon out there... Ho-Oh, Kygouge, Mewtwo, Zapados, etc... have you EVER caught any one of these without having to use a masterball? I've tried OFTEN, but even at my best attempt, Groudon lost all its PP (no jokes please), and just struggled to death. I went through 10 timer balls and 10 ultra balls, and Groudon had as little power as it could have had, especially after it struggled. I've had this simular problem with just about every other legendary pokemon out there, so I'm just wondering has ANYONE ever caught one without masterballing it?

You got to put it to sleep and down to very little HP and then just keep on using ultraballs on it.

I use ultraballs to catch pokemon that won't run away from battle or ROAR at you.I had to use masterball on Latias a while ago.

For me, once, I went to catch Mewto with like 60 ultra balls. After three tries, I caught him. As I was exiting, I ran into a Dodrio. Seeing as to how I had so many ultra balls left over, I left him with like 13 hp, put him to sleep, and spent 46 ultra balls trying to catch him and I finally succeeded. For me, that was the second hardest pokemon to catch. I met a lvl 346 Charizard on Cinnabar caught him with only 37 ultra balls. He was the most messed up pokemon I ever saw. Blastoise, Hydro Pump! Holy Cow... His hp bar went down as much as when you use slash on an onix... Charizard : Slash, byebye Blastoise. I caught him because he didn't use flamethrower. I've never seen my haunter do so much damage with night shade XDXDXDXD.
Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.

Pokemon blue : my first pokemon game i caught Moltres with a normall poke ball when he whas at half hp 
(talking about being lucky ^.^) took me a couple of times tho Pokemon i uno : caught suicune or how ever u type his name again with a ultra ball Thats about it^^

I was barely able to catch Lugia with a my last 2 great balls, and my machoke was at like 50 hp :PZapdos and Articuno were caught with ultra balls though...and masterball on mewtwo, to avoid complications

In pokemon red, blue and yellow, I've caught Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres making them fall asleep and then use an ultra ball.

I think the most powerful legendary pokemon is lugia because it appears very rarely and is very hard to catch with and ordinary ball: But if you encounter it and wan't to catch it i , you first got to put it asleep so you have a better chance of catching it, and keep doing it for several minutes so it has low health and you might be able to catch it if it doesn't escape "but you have to be quick": "i used a master ball to catch it because i wasn't sure if it would escape"

Hay, what are you talking aout? by using Code Breaker and Game Shark codes, I even catch the normal Pokemon using Master Balls. Thats only once I have finished the gameHa Ha Ha
