Catching Legendary Pokemon w/o Master Ball

some pokemon are very tough such as regirock,etc.but pokemon like lugia,mewtwo are the easiest to catch by making them asleep.then use ultra ball to catch them!Easy isnt it!

Quick question for all those pokemon fans out there. All those Legendary pokemon out there... Ho-Oh, Kygouge, Mewtwo, Zapados, etc... have you EVER caught any one of these without having to use a masterball? I've tried OFTEN, but even at my best attempt, Groudon lost all its PP (no jokes please), and just struggled to death. I went through 10 timer balls and 10 ultra balls, and Groudon had as little power as it could have had, especially after it struggled. I've had this simular problem with just about every other legendary pokemon out there, so I'm just wondering has ANYONE ever caught one without masterballing it?Quick question for all those pokemon fans out there. Amazingly i have, and honestly more than once. It was due to a very simple tactic, i just saved the game before i started battle with him and each time i foughti would put him to sleep or paralze him until i finally caught him. Another pokemon i caught was latios, but that was share luck i threw the wrong ball but it paid of. I don't exactly know what ball i used but it definatly was not a masterball.Amazingly i have, and honestly more than once. I've caught zapdos, articuno, moltros, all of the Regis, mew and mewtwo. Its simple really. Just stun them, freeze them and then put them to sleep. Then use all of the status reducing attacks you know until it has a reaklly low speed and HP. Three ultra balls after that should do it.

i've caught most of them except mewtwo using the masterball. Just lower their HP to red and either paralyze them or put them to sleep. Bring lots of Ultra balls becuz even in these states they are difficult to catch

Well I caught Kyogre, Groudon, Aticuno, Moltres, Zapdos and Rayquaza without a Masterball.Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza and Moltres I caught them with ultraball.Articuno with greatball It was very hard specially when you only carry pokeballs and greatballs.And believe it or not I caught Zapdos with a Pokeball.

i never use the masterball on legendaries, except if i run into the dogs or the latios/latias, ill be prepared to chuck it at them.

i have....it might take a while but its most effective....bring a pokemon that can place the Legendary Pkmn to sleep....and a weak one about level 25 and make sure it knows fury swipes ( make sure u bring a couple of revives for this one)....weaken groundon till its bar is red....den place it to sleep....switch in to the weak pokemon and use fury swipes....this should weaken it to the point where if u hit it again it'll faint....while its still asleep....use a pokeball( hold down a+b when u first release it, then when u are about to catch it hold down B)....better to use ultra ball....repeat this if it happens to heal itself

i tried... only once though... it completely sucked so i cant go anywhere without MasterBalls.

i catch them all the time w/o masterballs i just weaken them alot then i use timer ball or ultra ball the only time i use the masterball is if they run away like latios and latias

i used utraballs on everyone. i went through the course of every game and not useing a masterball

Weeken them to their danger meter. Then use a pokemon that can paralyze or make them sleep. Then fire away with ultra balls. Did it with everyone but mewtwo.

Ultraballs for Kyogre and Rayquaza, Pokeballs for mew in Blue and i Entei and Suicune with Ultras.

Of course Ive caught them without a master ball. It was hard, and frustrating with tonnes of resets... but I got there. Ive caught zapdos and the like. They are the easier ones. I never bothered with Ho-oh. I really dont like the pokemon. Ive also caught a groudon and kyogre.... perhasps the most frustrating of all was trying to catch an azelf without a master ball.... OMG... i was so close to giving up on the little sh*t when I finally got him. He was asleep and down to low health so many times and just WOULD NOT catch. I was so mad with pokemon at that stage.One of my mates actually managed to catch a rayquazza with full health with an ultra ball. He'd actually tried so many times that he said "screw it" and just threw it at it. His face was priceless.

I've caught them w/o the master ball. I use leach seed to get them down low and sleep them. catch them wit an ultra ball
