i have caught all legandaries withour master ball. including latio, latia, and the 3 dogs. Hell they are hard. And i caight groundon with a nezt ball it was a mistake

I haven't really played the new games but I've caught Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres and Mewtwo with Ultra Balls in Red and Blue. But then I started duplicating my master balls and now I'm catching everything like that.Quick question for all those pokemon fans out there. All those Legendary pokemon out there... Ho-Oh, Kygouge, Mewtwo, Zapados, etc... have you EVER caught any one of these without having to use a masterball? I've tried OFTEN, but even at my best attempt, Groudon lost all its PP (no jokes please), and just struggled to death. I went through 10 timer balls and 10 ultra balls, and Groudon had as little power as it could have had, especially after it struggled. I've had this simular problem with just about every other legendary pokemon out there, so I'm just wondering has ANYONE ever caught one without masterballing it?

I have caught rayquaza , gourdon , kyorge by bug ball ,. The strange thing is I only need one throw ????? Any prolems

I caught Articuno with an Ultraball just yesterday.The original Pokemon Handbook said it was only possible to catch them with Ultra or Master balls.

i remember the first playing Pokemon Gold when it was first released in Jap...i reached up to the top level in that Ho-oh tower and i spent days tryna figure out a way to catch him with ultra balls...i had used the master ball on one of those running dogs [the game would freeze if i tried to battle it, so i just caught it because i hadn't saved yet, and i didnt want to lose all my progress]...good times...

I've caught Mewtwo with a normal Pokeball with a lot of damage and asleep. I've caught Ho-oh witha normal Pokeball with no damage, all I did when I got into battle was throw my last pokeball and caught it. The rest I've managed to catch them with Ultra balls. I haven't caught any with great balls yet.

i usaly just use all pokeballs other than masteball becuz that is a lil to easy to cetch them

yeah i once cuaght after a lot of tries a zapdos moltres and articuno i caught a ho oh with a timer ball and lugia with a masterball but i cheated to get on those islands

In Red and Blue you can catch all the legendary pokemon fairly easy with ultra balls. Ive never been able to do it with groudon or kyogre though....

its easy, u just save b4 u fight them..then hit them with a more powerful pokemon until their health is rlly rlly low.then u keep throwing ultra balls while trying to put them to sleep or something. i usually have lots of revives ready. so if the main pokemon dies, i swap and use revive to the main pokemonkeep doing it and u'll soon catch it

i caughtrayquizzer(sp?) groundon and kyrogre with ultra balls,i fought them untill there HP went into the red, then put them to sleep, then threw some ultra balls untill i caught them.try it

yes i have you have to get its healf right dowm and put it to sleep then ues a ultra ball on it it is very hard to do you have to use a leval 99 pokemon with the sleep attack i yused a snorlax it toke agis to get it to sleep but it dose work from tazarmyQuick question for all those pokemon fans out there. it takes a long time, but it is possible to catch them with just the ultra ball

I don't go into battle with a Legendary without a Master Ball or the knowledge that I can catch it no problem, so yeah I gotta have the Master Ball with me lol

Thats no fun, you don't get the accomplishment of know you defeated them.i used.. cheat codes. = D
