my parents think I waste too much time on it, they agree that I should be allowed to play but just not as long :/

Personally, my mum's glad I play games. She sees it as my hobby, and seeing as I make my own games in my spare time, and my current College and after that University courses will lead me along the path to being a Video Game Designer, my mum thinks I'm going to get rich from it! Which is always cool.My dad on the other hand takes the stereotypical attitude. He sees me as a geek/ nerd who's a God in virtual reality, but in the real world I can't do squat. Even though I get the best grades in my entire family ... Cousins, aunts and stuff included.Meh, I don't care what they think though, I play them anyways.

Well, I make staight A's, and have been going on five years straight now, and they feel that if I can sit on my donkey all day and play video games and be valedictorian at the same time then they could care less.

my parents hagte my addiction to games. earlier this week the people that clean my house broke my ps2 and my parents wont make them pay for it or buy me a new 1 becuase they say i use it to often

When i was at home my dad hated it he didn't understand what was so great about them. I think games passed him by after space invaders got old. Mum never used to say much as it was her that brought all my earlier systems. But now that i'm older it doesn't really matter what they have to say about them i'll keep playing them forever.

My parents really don't care as long as I don't die from a severe lack of sleep, food or water and as long as I keep my grades up.

My parents don't even know that I play these games on the computer. But they do see that I am busy with the laptop for some time.

My dad thinks that anything that runs on electricity is a waste of time, whether it be games, TV, or the computer, he hates them all. My mom is much more cool about it. Whenever she sees me playing my games, she stands there and watches me and asks questions about the game. However, she would much rather me spend my money on more "productive" things.

My mother dont care that I play a lot, but she argues sometimes cause I just stay playing doing "nothing", but now I work and when she see me playing she says nothing.

Lol apparently im "obsessive" but i think my dad just goes along with that so i get off and he can loose money on online poker!
