Well, regurlarly, i think my parents are just sad because of my addiction for games, but when exam comes, they becomes angry at me if i still play games then

I don't know.. I just say I'm not even playing, I'm making graphics and stuff and she just forgets about it. I don't think my mom really cares what I do with my time, lol.

My parents don't mind - its my wife and kids which are the problem !!They don't really care...they're more concerned about my obsession with music.I don't think they like being kept up until 12:00 midnight because I turn up GWAR as loud as I do.>_>

... Addiction? Well, my parents are fine with my gaming as long as I don't get to that point. As soon as they think I'm hooked, I get to enjoy a nice slice of cold turkey... even if they have to shove it down my throat to get it in me.

I am a parent. And I see no problem with enjoying games, as long as it does not interfere with real life issues. Video games always have a pause or a save feature... real life has no such things, and if you don't take advantage of the moment, whatever moment it may be, when it arrives, it will pass you by.

haha i wouldnt call it an addiction but my parents are constantly yelln at me to go outsideand they ground me from all games until i do go outside for a run or somethin

hahaha mine too, u know and they also said that i am wasting my time, just because all i do in the day its playing video games and read (i didnt enter inn the university because of the admision testMy parents think all my problems are caused by either videogames or my computer. Cheeky bums.

nothing really i used to have an addiction to video games actually i still do but my mom doesn't like video games so she doesn't really care

my mother use to be on my case for it all the damn time -.-; she would go to the extent of taking away the broadband modem so i couldnt get online.....

My parents don't like me playing games all the time. They say I should focus a lot more on my studies (which I should) and stop playing games.

My Father's a redneck and thinks all my game systems should be put down but, thankfully, he's not going to do it himself. My Mother doesn't care most of the time, because I make good grades.

My parents don't really mind any more- mostly because I don't play games much anymore. Ever since my junior year in high school I just kind of stopped playing as much. I do it every other weekend though, butnow that I have more free time... we'll see.

I'm not really addicted so much, but my dad says if I spend more than an hour playing a game instead of exercising or practicing b-ball, he'll sell all my games and consoles. He actually did that back when I had a PS1.
