I've tried to play 4, and, personally, I think it was absolutely awful.

well all i can really say to you is you gotta start from tha beginning either try to find a cheap version of suikoden 1 or 2 (good luck) or d/l tha rom, cause it's like a long movie you can't just jump into it like 20 minutes before it ends and expect to understand.and to untouchable, i'm very sorry i'll try to add that in whenever i talk about yuber

i just got a copy of Suikoden 2 one hundred flat W/ original jewel case and booklet. It went on auction today. i was lucky to see it this morning.

sorry homie i gotta disagree, yuber was 10 times more evil (though not there for a long time) in part 2, not to mention alot cooler lookin, but either way yuber is cool as hell

Ive only played suikoden 1. I really liked the game but I cant find any of the other games in my country (I live in new zealand).

So many games are unavaliable because of the releases. The Suikodens seem to take a good brunt of this. Suikoden 2 had only about 10,000 translated copies released in North America while 3 wasn't even released on PAL systems.

This is my favorite series!! This RPG rocks. XDlegato_blue, I really don't know the timeline. I guess it's between 4 and 1, but I hope it's after 1 and I also hope to see McDohl again.

Suikoden 5? After 4 but before 1. Taking place in the Queendom of Falena. This means we might be seeing Georg Prime, Ridley, and Lorelai! Wooohooo! Oh, and of course Leknaat and perhaps, Viki.

For now it looks like the series is just introducing all the True Runes/runes. The series is seemingly heading for a climax with the Harmonia empire.

I have played, beat, and own 1-4. I didn't get Suikoden Tactics yet, and do not know if I plan on getting it.....It kinda turns me away from how it looks compared to the other games(looks different and makes me think it won't hold its own agaist 1-4) I am looking forward to playing suikoden V aswell. This is by far my fave game series.

I can't tell you exactly how many true runes have been introduced but after the sun rune it looks like:1. gate rune2. soul eater3. beast4. sun5. true earth6. circle rune-the one held by the harmonia head hancho Hikusaak 7. true wind8. true fire9. true water10. punishment rune11. sword and shield12. Blue Moon13. true lightning14. Night Rune15. Sovereignso 15 that are really known about, 11 more to go aka more SuikodensHarmonia. I agree. I think there'll be climax in Harmonia once all 27 are introduced.

Played and beat 1-4... all great games although 4 wasn't really as good as the others, still a fun game. Tactics kind of sucks, I have it and havent played it much really because it wasn't very much fun.I can't wait for Suikoden 5, going to get it first day it comes out

Ah, I think I cocked up a little. Because of Konami America mistranslating Georgs profile in no.2 I found out that the listed things are in reverse. I now have no idea when it is set.

I am a HUGE fan of suikoden ive played all of them havnt tried tactics yet i heard it was good tho but the best would have to be number 2 because it connected to number 1. Also the music and story line were just perfect and you could do a lot in the game without being bored
