I`ve played 1 to 4. I think its one of the best stories I`ve ever seen in any RPG.

ive played 1 and 2 3 a lilo and 4 the demo but i feel that 3 and 4 is a disapointmen its not as good as 1 and 2 my only hope is to make the future suikoden game more like 1 and 2 then ill start playin again

I enjoyed the Suikoden series as a whole and believe it should be given just as much credit as the FF series. I liked the first three but was a little disappointed with the fourth game. I didn't even know that a fifth game was being developed.

W00t. Suikoden 5 did in fact come out today. I just got it with my special pre-order bonus containing a music cd and artbook. Just looking at the art book some old favorites come back: Georg(who's missing an eye in this one-odd), Jeane, Viki(same old dress XD), and Lorelei wielding a whip this time.Interestingly there's a section about runes. First there's the mention of True Runes-only 13 out of 27 so far. Then there's the other runes with a new non-true beast rune and 3 other new ones: the dawn rune, twilight rune(both possibily aspects of the sun rune) and the condemnation rune.

I don't know what it is yet, I haven't gotten too far into the game yet.As to the fighting system. It's very much like Suikoden 2, esp. with it's view, window, and actions the characters can take.

My favorites are in order. 2, 3, 1, 4, and Tactics. I just got 5 an hour ago so I can't comment on it yet, other than IT KICKS THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF 4 XP

I have played Suikoden 1, 2, 4, and Tactics. My Friends shown me 5( Want to Play it.) I also think these games have a unique way of doing story lines, which I think is good.

I've played and beat all of them except Tactics, 3 (I've played them but haven't beaten them), and 5. I'm hoping to get 5 soon because I've heard that it redeems the series.To Carlito: I listened to it. I didn't hear some of my favorite songs, so I didn't care for it too much. It was pretty good, though.

ive only ever played 1 and 2 as 3 and 4 were never released in australia and 5 doesnt come out till june XDi loved them both thought they were better than the ff games the whole idea of a castle that grows as well as over 105 charachters and great storys how can u beat that

big rpg fan over here, so Suikoden, FF, BOF, Xeno(gears/saga) and otheras for Suikodens, 5 beats them all, then it depends : the 2, was great and i played it and played it over and over againthe 1, i liked it but something was kinda missingthe 3, most people didnt like it, i did, the 3 side story (4 with Thomas) was great, the skill system and the idea that your people did the big war were great, but the war movement was ...the 4, wow the most hated of them all, mostly cuz of graphics, 4 man group. story was ok, but the fact that it took place not even close to the others didnt link it together.

Well ,as for me ,I liked the first two Suikoden's a lot ,but Suikoden 3 and 4 were actually quite disappointing. I haven't played Suikoden 5 yet - I hope it's a good one :P.

i havnt played the latest ones but my favorite still is suikoden 2. i played it like 6 times. and i completed the characters.

Yeah, I played Suikoden2 too, was the only Suikoden game I played,I liked because there are a lot of playable characters and you can make your army, the HQ-castle system is cool too and I liked a lot the Unite techsI just wanted Jowy lived in the end, cuz he wasn't bad
