I liked Suikoden 2 more than the first. Its because, I can make my own army. And not to mention, Cooking(lol)...Too bad the tomboy, Nanami died. And I wasn't been able to play suikoden 3 and the other game onwards... :gay2:

Wow people who know about Suikoden! I'm impressed. :)Everyone I talk to who thinks they're an RPG-er only knows about the FF series and that's it. -____-"But yeah Suikoden I and II were awesome IMO. I kinda hated how in Suikoden II, Jowy was better than the Hero and you couldn't control him past the beginning of the game. ><" That really irked me haha.I tried to play Suikoden III but just found it so hard to force myself to sit through and play it for a good hour. I've actually found all the PS2 RPGs I've tried so far to be let downs really. =/Maybe I've just been unlucky in terms of my choices though..I might head to EB sometime soon and pick up some games.. I see lately that they've got a whole bunch of interesting games at reduced prices.

I LOVE Suikoden III. ^__^ and that's mainly because Chris Lightfellow kicks serious donkey. and I guess I'm one of the few who liked the three viewpoints or the Trinity Sight system.I have played the first two and they were great, but Suiko1 was too short and Jowy pissed me off in the second. and the fourth Suikoden kinda sucked. :/ still need to play the 5th one.

the fifth one is very good, it takes a little bit of time to get into the story of it but its well worth the wait. I have suikoden I, II, III and V...I refuse to buy IV. I rented it, beat it and didn't like it as much as the previous titles so I don't feel the need of spending $40 on a game I didn't enjoy.

I have played all of the games, but the only ones in the series that I care about are the first and second. The first was just great and the fact that you had a Rune called "Death Eater" rocked. The second (which is my favorite in the series and one of my favorite games of all time) was freaken awesome because of all the secrets and endings you could get. You could even recruit the main character from the first game and get him out of retirement as a general.

Suikoden 1 and 2 are amazing. I'm not sure if I should play the later ones with so many people saying they are much worse in comparison.

I fell in love with this series back when Suikoden I was first released. I passed all 4 games, but only own 1, 3, and 4. Suikoden II was impossible to find for some reason, so I only got to play it after I discovered emulation and downloaded a Suikoden II ISO from eMule. Here is my opinion on this series: Suikoden I is very good, only surpassed by Suikoden II. Suikoden III was bad, but much better than IV. I'm from the Super Nintendo generation, so I hate it when they ruin games with 3D. The only good thing about III and IV is that Jeanne and the rest of the well-endowed females are in 3D! :P Jeanne is really fun to watch. She's so jiggley. Especially in the play sequences on Suikoden III. In Suikoden IV, I always take a moment to admire her in first-person mode as I pass her shop. :P

I only played Suikoden II and Suikoden card game (gba). I think it's good games. But graphics is not so wonderful, and Storyline is difficult to attract many gamers.Maybe in the future, Suikoden should return to the Eastern ancients.

I only played half way through the first one and it just completely lost my interest. I havent played a Suikoden since. Not my style of RPG at all.

I only played I and II. I wish I could play the others, but I don't have a PS2. I liked the second one, but in the first one, there were too many forced characters in party.

LOL you sir speak the truth!Ya, I kinda like the series for the same reason. My only regret is that you won't get to date them.

I heard many great things about Suikoden 2 so I tried it out and it's one of my top favorite RPGs. The weird thing was I played 3 first then 2 then 1....then finally on track with 4 and now 5.

Suikoden series is great especially suikoden 2 its unique in a way since you are having your own army later on and the best part is trying to get all the characters in the game. Just a really fun game to play.
