Well, try to borrow from your friends or try to look in the mall... but I doubt you'll find the old ps1 series in the mall wherever you're from.

History of Suikoden so interesting.Anyone who can suggest any more sites besides Suikosource?

Depends on what you want. For history and game facts the bests sites around in my opinion would be www.suikosource.com and www.suikox.com as both were started up by Blue Moon/SARSadmin/SARS Ad-Minh. It is safe to say that the guy knows a lot about suikoden and if you're looking for information and/or history those two are the best source. They both also have forums if you're interested although those are mostly for rumors and assumptions rather than for pure information. If you're looking for codes, walkthroughs, in-depth guides and game analysis, www.suikosource.com and www.gamefaqs.com are probably the best two sites around. Search for suikoden on gamefaqs.Another good suikoden website is www.harmonia-online.net although the site is currently under development (but you can still go to the forums) . There is also Insolis although I cannot remember the address for that one and I think its down at the moment.I've got a suikoden based site myself although it is primarily focused on role play and fanfic rather than actual information regarding the games. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Hmm...I liked Geddoe from Suikoden III but if I could be any character then I would choose Hugo's Griffin and soar through the skies. My favorite Suikoden game was III. I rented it and got a two week late charge. >_<

No news as of yet. The newest thing from suikoden to hit the shelves is going to be Rhapsodia/Rhapsody, which in a way is like Suikoden IV-2 or Suikoden Tactics. V is a way away and I wouldn't hold my breath for that one. Its probably best to pre-occupy yourself with a different game until Suiko V comes out. Hopefully Rhapsodia does the trick.

There was a game titled Rhapsody on PS1 but I am sure that It was made by Square. The new game is Rhapsodia and It's PS2 exclusive (Good old Konami, Keeping to the best format).Release Date in America is November 8, 2005. No Australian or European release date is slated yet.

Erm... Rhapsody was a PS1 game that has absolutely nothing do with suikoden short of being an RPG. Suikoden Rhapsodia/Rhapsody is like a Suikoden Tactics game (like FF Tactics was for FF). Rhapsody and Suikoden Rhapsodia have nothing in common but part of the name.@ Marchellyn: What kind of secrets??? Are you talking specific game play secrets or character and storyline secrets?

http://www.rpgamer.c...05/061005a.htmlThat website was the only source of info i found about Rhapsodia as i don't have time. :whistle2: I have only played Suiko 1 and 2. B) Both games are good and have a great storyline but preferably i like suiko 2 best.As for 3 and 4 i'm not interested in buying them as i have heard alot of comments agianst them and i don't want to be disappointed. :D I think that the change of the director changed the whole situation as he had to know how d story would end!! :D

For suikoden Speculation the best place would be to go to the Suikosource Forums. If anything comes out that would be the place it will hit first.Viki, I'd suggest you actually get your hands on to Suikoden III and try it out for yourself instead of letting others tell you what is good and what isn't. Suikoden III was an AMAZING game and like you I also love I and II, with II being my favorite game of all time. Suikoden III certainly doesn't compare to II (but then again, nothing else really does... and I'm strictly talking about Suikoden fans here so please don't use this as fuel to go on about FF being better or anything). I still haven't played IV yet although I'm certain that no matter how bad the reviews are there are still plenty of things I'd love. If the new games didn't carry the suikoden name, they surely would have gotten far better reviews I assure you.If you don't want to buy them, then I'd suggest you rent out Suikoden III or borrow it from a friend, because it truly is a master piece. I know quite a few people who actually prefer III over I and some who would even go as far as saying III is better then II. Personally.... the story in II is just unbeatable (go Luca), but I and III are very close as far as second place is concerned.

Well I live in NZ so the only way I could play III was to import it from the states and get my PS2 chipped (which I also had to import from the states). They really should have released a PAL version. :?Anyways, there are TWO Vikis in Suikoden III so you'd probably like it.
