I'd have to say that the whole game is great. I still have it on my PC from 1999. It still works and I still play it.

A very underrated game that I had totally forgotten about. Havent played it since I sold my SNES a long time ago. I think I will go and download it now.

When Bowser joins your side and you get princess back is the parts I liked.I also liked the last encounter, very fun fight

Mario RPG was never released down here (Australia). That was after the Nintendo Magazine here did a pretty awesome article on it.Oh well. The Nintendo 64 version of Super Mario RPG is also an RPG and its name is Paper Mario. I hope that answers your question.moving on..My favourite scene in Super Mario RPG would also be the opening when Mario confronts Bowser. The chandeliers look extremely impressive and there's nothing like it for the rest of the game. Squaresoft must have certainly had first impressions in mind when they made this game because that was some darn impressive scenery. My other favourite part was the battle against the cake. That was comical how the two bakers were arguing about whether the cake was alive while you are pummeling it. That cake was one tough boss, but the fight was still fun.what catagory is the game in?the n64?im interested.

I like the part when they are in the forest and toad is so weak that mario has to beat every monster that attacks him

I have to say that finally watching smithy explode into a million pieces was one of the best parts of the game. The mini games were pretty good too though
