Okay, personally I love ddr, but I'm tired of ppl calling it a girls game, so I want some more ppl's opinions. Personally, I see a lot more guys playing it than girls.

DDR a.. girly game? No.. how to put this..Dance Dance Revolution is a great workout for the legs, and a fun game in general. Adopted by a lot of `Furs' because of the intense leg movement. A lot of people in martial arts love this game too, for the reason stated above.I would think twice about calling it a girly game, because there's a 9/10 chance that whoever is playing it, could kick your poorly worked buttox to the extreme.Nope, not girly at all. (Although, I am not saying that it cannot be for girls, oh no, work them legs. 
)

definitely a unisex game. It's great because it can attract both genders pretty much equally. But I do see more guys playing it than girls, but that's mostly because guys usually play more video games in general than girls.

IMO its DEFINITELY a girls game only. You may say that REAL men will dance, but I say no.Some guys can pull it off, but most cant. They have DDR tournaments at my college, and I noticed that I wouldnt laugh at the anime guys when they played it. For some reason it didnt seem odd. But then a jock got on the pad, and it was hillarious. So mainly a girls game, but a small amount of guys could pull it off.*I am in no way disrespecting anime guys btw*

I say the only thing that makes that game girly is all the pink but other than that that game is one hell of an intense work out. I love it. I got to the mall and play it with peeps and come out drenched. And dont get me wrong. I wrestle for my school! Not a girly game at all. It justs seems to attract more to that gender. Cuz girls kick so much donkey at this game it's not even funny. If you haven't given it a try I suggest you should. At first I'll admit I was like "Wow these people are gay" but then I tried it...Then became hooked. No joke.

in france you can see as much girls and boybut the people with the best level you can see in competitions or in arcade are asians frenchs

Hell no...it's not a girl's game. I love it and my friends love this game. Yes there was a lot of doubting especially from the girls when they believe i couldn't dance but i kicked all their butts and i'm serious, in this game

A girly game? No, I enjoy it very much, it’s a fun workout. But, I do enjoy watching them girls swing their stuff.

That's funny, because social stereotyping doesnt have anything to do with skill at DDR. Skateboarders, rugby players, hardcore kids, we all play at school and I (I'm pretty damned good) have been schooled by guys on wrestling teams and the occasional guitar-totting nu-hippie. Girly game because "jocks" are making fun of people? Hardly. The game doesn't have a gender-connotation, it's just fun for anyone who actually puts in the effort.and for the record I am not an "anime guy" as I'm almost directly opposed to it. I rock at it and I'm a guy. After 3 years of playing I've only been beaten once, and HE worked at the arcade. I've only seen girls play ddr once, and they sucked. Although I did see a documentary on it on good-morning america with a guy and a girl showing off how good they were, it was cool.

I personal;y think it's a great party game, meaning IT"S FOR BOYS AND GIRLS. People might see dancing as a girl thing, but DDR is completely different, it's dance dance revolution

i rarely see a girl play DDR and when they do they just arn't that good at it. All diferent kinds of people play it at my school. Cross Country runners, band geeks(me), one of my friends who's pretty large( lawl, large) plays it and is pretty good. Everyone plays it!!!!!! what a fun game!
