I wish I had one; some arcade games I really want have Dreamcast ports, e.g. Rival Schools: Project Justice and Guilty Gears.

that was a good system, but then the PS2 came along and destroyed it's future of competition, but the dreamcast was a great system

Man, it was so good. It's library would have been fine if it had stuck around a little longer and gotten the 3 party games released on all other systems ported over to it too. The most depressing commercial ever "Buy it on Xbox, Game cube, and PS2 today!" Well except for "sonic adventure dx, on game cube." To those of us from back in the 16 bit war days, it was sacreligious to see sonic on a nintendo console. Too bad my genesis has been more hardy then this, i have to put a season's worth of dvds on top of it so it will register that the top is closed and i can play my game.

i was one of the ones that missed out b/c i was looking forward to the PS2. That and fact that as a die-hard nintendo man i couldn't even begin to contemplate buying sega. I was disillusioned by the N64 and looking for something else. Sony won out with the backwards compatibility. My roommate got a DC right after i got my PS2 and i realized my mistake almost immediately.

No my American version was also called Jet Grind Radio. As a side note, yes, the Dreamcast was an awesome system. You also forgot Rival Schools in your list! But rembering all those games, it'd be hard to deny the quality of many of them. (If you were able to sift through most of the crap available.)Bangai-O! was also an awesome game.

I still own and actively play the 'cast. I used to own over 150 games for it back in it's prime, but now I have that trimmed down to about 50. There's alot of good stuff on the system, but it requires a more refined taste in games, for the most part.

The good old Dreamcast, the best systom ever to come out of anyones head. I still plug mine in every once and a wile and sit back and play Soul Calaber, Shemune, Sonic Advencher 1. Those were the good old days. I gust wish I could find out where to get the games to burn sence they don't sell them in stores anymore.

i still have it in prime and clean white condition sealed with plastic wrap . a christmas present i bought to myself >_<, i have about 20 games but the only game i really played is SOUL CALIBUR, about 6 month after that I have a bonus salary so I bought myself Playstation2 and Winning Eleven aka Pro Evolution Soccer then My Dreamcast is pushed away more and more deep into my cabinet. never played it again.now I only buy new systems if they had winning eleven or pro evolution soccer in their lineup games.I still love it tough. it's like your sweet pretty ex-girlfriend, it's a nice romantic night but still already in the past i guess we're not meant to be.. hiks >_<
