hmm... let me see I believe my first game on the PS2 was *runs off and looks through games* aah it was eiter Princes of Persia... actually that might have been my third. FFX was second so that means Tenchu was the first game I had. aah yeah I remember now. I first popped it in I was like 
... I loved the intro to it when I first saw it I thought it was awesome. haha .. but yeah that was the first game I ever had on PS2

Final Fantasy X was the one for me... Especially since I love the entire FF series.

The first real game that got me Hooked was KH. at first I thought is was a bad game. then I started playing it and could not stop.

I got into Klonoa 2 really quick. Quite enjoyable. I believe it was PS2. if its PS1, nevermind.

For me, at first, I was only interested in MGS. That's why I bought Sons Of Liberty. But then I was interested in other games too. So m first game would be MGS: Sons of Liberty

My first games for the PS2 were Crazy taxi, Tekken tag, ridge racer 5, and street fighter ex 3. These all got me hooked. Couldnt stop playing to say the least.

the first will have to bePrince of persia warrior withinmy life was made on that gameand defeating that really hard boss(dahaka)i played the game like5 hours straight and completed it within a weekman,that was one nice game

My very first PS2 game was Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Sadly, it did set the bar of "average PS2 game" high, and only about 3-4 dozen games have matched my expectations. Sly 3 is still a great game.
