Final Fantasy X.It was not the first game I bought, I don't actually remember what was.It is however the first game on PS2 that I played for over 150 hours and probably the only barring sports titles (PES mainly) with mates which used to be a common get together thing. Anyway for FFX that was all for a single playthough.

I remember the system came with a Rayman game, and the first one I bought was Tekken Tag Tournament. But the first game I really played a lot was probably Dynasty Warriors 3. Then came Final Fantasy X, and the flood of addictive games followed.

mine was metal gear solid 2: sons of liberty..thats the only game free on my ps2...ahahh...it took me 3 months to buy new games....ahahhahaha...ssssssssssnake rocks!!

FFX i still play it today over 350 hours on one filethen there was my first file 110 hours and all the times my friends have erased thier files so i got them back to where they were up tothat or time splitters 2 me and my best friend spent about a year on that game

After agonizing over it, I have NO idea!! I can't for the life of me remember what my first PS2 game was. I only bought the thing originally because my PS1 died and I saw no reason to buy another PS1. The first game I played on it was a PS1 game....I think it was Wild Arms 2. Stevo

My first PS2 game was Dragonball Z: Budokai 3. That game was amazing when it's your first game. Then I went on to buy better titles like FFX and lost interest in it...

Hm, now that I think about it, its kinda hard to remember actually. I think my first game was Capcom vs SNK 2. But the one that really got me into PS2 games was either FFX of Dynasty Warriors 4. I can't remember many Ps2 before those that could have really had me hooked. There probably were, but my memory is being stupid right now. lol

Guitar Hero is the only reason I moved up from 16 bit games. I bought my PS2 just to play Guitar Hero but it was like a gateway drug lol. After that I got an N64 and a Dreamcast and stopped playing my NES and SNES as often

I remember well the day I got my brand new PS2 along with an 8mb memory card and my copy of Final Fantasy X. I was really hurt by the 2 days of sleep deprivation and I think I only slept 30hrs that whole week. I love those somewhat painful yet very joyous memories.

Heck yeah, FFX kicked butt, I had a similar experience with that game. I pulled a three day streak, slept for four hours, did another two days, slept for 8 hours, and played again for another day and a half before I passed out for 10 hours. I think that puts my hours count at 22.... lol

The only reason I bought my PS2 is because I was crazy about FFX (I'm a FF hardcore). It is the sole, only reason why I have a PS2 at home. Yeah, may be because of FFXII as well, but I still can remember buying my PS2 and my FFX at the same time. Sigh... , such memories

FF12, I got my PS2 really really late. Didn't really have a reason to get a PS2 till FF12 came out.
