so i just completed jade empire ... that was ridiculously easy even on grand master it was also really shorti'm worried this is the way that Xbox rpg's are going fable was short even when trying to get everything. KOTOR 1 wasn't that badis anyone else feeling the same cos i remember back in the days of mana stone and chrono trigger when games were long and involving i think this si something thats been lost i've now resorted to playing pokemon again

I think you've got a point there. But I also think that they reason RPGs are being made like this is because most people are tired of running around and leveling up their character. Usually in RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia the bosses and enimies were too hard to fight at first so it forst you to level up your character a lot. I mean, if you really think about it, that was the only thing that made a lot of old school RPGs so long. In a lot of new RPGs they have a leveling up system but most of the time the story gets in the way of people wanting to sit around and level up. But is that really a bad thing? I don't think so. They've cut out one of the double-edged swords of gaming. Games like Jade Empire and Fable are still good entertaining games even though they are really short and easy.

jade empire's really easy if you use storm dragon (which can paralyze any human).

i also agree that Jade Empire was very easy but ive heard rumours that Jade Empire 2 is on its way and its going to be a lot longer than the last one......we can only hope

The games are short probably because it takes alot of time to make the graphics in high detail. If any of you tryed Fable you would know that there is only 5 or 6 monster types. They should make alt least 20 different monster types!

At the beginning it was hard. Maybe that's cause I didn't read the book or anything. But even before getting to the ship it was way too easy.

I started playing it and notices it was very easy also. I think they make them short because people keep on wanting more so they make them fast and sloppy so therefore its smaller than the old games.

Yeah. Hands down easy.Finished it off the same day I borrowed it from a friend.Mismatched, I think.

itr is also easy for the 3types of endings, in kotor1 or 2 it takes to long to find any of the other ending

I played Jade Empire for 2 days and it was alright... It was fairly easy and I made a dent but it lacked one factor I look for in all RPG games is different weapons. I had the same sword(Weaponsmith at beginning) the entire time. Worth renting.

It takes about 10 hours to beat the game. This game was way too easy and short, i finished it on the highest difficulty in about a day or two.

wow 10 hrs you must be a low lvl and had no items cause it took me about 30 hrs and i found almost everything(if not all items) and my guy was a crazy level. it was to ez however i was hoppin over enemies left and right they cant touch ya, good story though and it was fun while it lasted.

It took me about 30 hrs. to go down both path on the default difficulty, I should try the hardest one on the good path.

jade empire total dissappointmenti played it for a total of like 100hrs hopin that there were some really cool secrets in every difficulty, but yet total well garbage, cant believe it got good rating/reviews from so many

I havent found anything about jade empire 2. Can u post some links. And yea it was to easy and to short.
