PC gaming is not at all dead. The MMO's are starting to bring a lot of people back to the computer. I prefer PC gaming way over console gaming. The mouse and keyboard are way better than the controller (Which be used on computer if preferred). I just wish that they had some more creative stuff like the Wii remote, even though you can use a Wii remote on a computer it is a hassle to set up.

Never. There are some good games that can't ever be played on consoles. That's why we have PCs. Now if only there were more better game developers...

pc gaming has died down but isn't out. the hackability of pc games still is a plus for me. But console games have less problems to deal with.

I prefer gaming on consoles.it's also the trend of the last years.

I feel there are two catagories of games. -Serious Gamer Games, e.g. game people play tournaments for etc. These are best on the PC market, and the hardware needed to drive the 1ms differance is only suitable in an areana where each person decides their won hardware...-Fun multipler games. This is where the console comes into play, having multiple people sitting around having pizza and playng somes easy non serious games...So I'm saying each has its market and both will flourish.but thats just my 2 cents.

PC games are dying. But as long as companies make games like World Of Warcraft, and other online games like that, then it won't die.

No offense intended to anyone, but anyone who thinks PC games will die is retarded. PC's have controllers just as consoles do. PC games don't suck on average (at least the professionally made ones). PC's also have not only the capability of playing games but of an assortment of other things that are actually productive to some people, and has more of those capabilities than I can reasonably list without crashing something. Consoles do games, and not much else. True, they are adding a variety of new features such as the DVD, blue-ray, and probably other features I can't think of right now, but the PC can do all of those as well. You will never see the end of PC gaming. I suspect more likely will be a merge between the PC and console, because neither will ever truly go away.

hang on, you stated more on how good Consoles will be than PC's :)

I think gaming is definitely moving toward consoles and away from PCs. Think about it: a lot of the advantages PCs used to have over consoles no longer exist.1) PCs used to be the only way to play online multiplayer games--this is no longer true2) PC games used to have better graphics than console games--no longer truePlus, console games have always had less technical problems, which is a big reason I prefer consoles.

No way, RTS is still only playable by PCs and alot of people play those games. Well, I mean you can transfer RTS to console but it's weird (wasn't C&C transferred to some console? I forget). Also some people just plain out prefer the WASD and mouse configuration for FPS rather than the controller.

PC gaming is far from dead. I mean, PCs don't get a lot of big titles, but when they do get them, they're the biggest. Look at WoW; it has millions of players. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has gotten incredible fanbase in a short time due to how well it is made. In addition, no matter how good they are, no console controller will ever replace a mouse/keyboard for FPS's. Pc gaming is here to stay.

I don't think PC Gaming is dead; quite the contrary. I -do- think that as time progresses, more and more games will end up being online, or requiring an active internet connection, which may lead up to a decline in good single-player PC games. PC gaming won't disappear, because PC's still have functionality. People do other stuff on it. So as long as that's the case, I feel that PC gaming shall exist...after all, everyone needs a break from doing work on their PC, even if it means playing solitaire for ten minutes.
