Wont be if you ask me... Warhammer online is coming out, granado espada is out, guild wars 2 etc... if pc gaming was dead, why would people still spend time and money to produce these games? Also i heard that warhammer online is poised to beat WoW in terms of gameplay, graphics and so...

This guy is right! They are just hatching out of their huge eggs...lol! Yes PC because it has a large variety of games and because it can run all of the system games for example GBA, PS, X Box, Gamecube, PS 2, Super Nintendo and a lot more! :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

Yeah...i mean only recently has PC gaming become better and better, with the new range of different games, styles and graphics. I don't think PC gaming will die in a long time, think about how long Console gaming has lasted. The first thing i thought when i read this topic was, nu uh me and all my friends and this generation has been so greatly influenced by the "computer" that there is no way in hell it would die lol

Its not dead but its dying because other consoles are able to access the internet now so it could be in a few years. What might save it is if it has good games only for Pc

No, don't think so, games like Unreal Tournament and World of Warcraft, and many other MMOs or amazing games like UT keep it plunty alive!

UT is still alive? i thought it died when hl2 came out plus i think CS is a better example of why pc games wont ever die. to many hardcore fans .

PC gaming's popularity might decrease a little because the consoles' ability to specialize in gaming results in better graphics and more innovative controls (the Wii stick is a great example of this). For those with the financial ability to dedicate several hundred dollars to a separate system solely for gaming purposes, consoles will result in a better gaming experience compared to the PC. However, I believe that PC gaming will always remain "alive" for those unwilling or unable to shell out the cash for next-gen systems every few years and are instead merely looking for an entertaining way to pass the time. As long as the PC remains a household staple, PC games will continue to exist and sell in large enough numbers to keep the industry afloat. However, with the improvement in home entertainment systems, I see PC games becoming obsolete one day simply because the TV will have replaced the PC.

PC gaming is anything but dead, in fact, it seems to be on the rise. After all, the main aim of most of the newest consoles is to be as close to a computer as possible. I think eventually we wont even have video games anymore, PC gaming is just the next most logical, convenient progression.

Consoles or PCs? I'll go for consoles bcuz PC games most of the time lagging if you don't save some extra space for them. on the other hand, consoles only need their respective storage system to save, unless you put some data changers like Gameshark n Codebreaker.

PC games will live forever!as long as MMORPG (yes i know there are some that is released on consoles but a keyboard and a mouse, plus an easy connection to the net gives PC an edge over consoles), 1st person shooters, and RTS games are made, PC games are here to stay!

I don't think it's dead, millions of people still play games on their PC, granted I don't use my PC for gaming as much whereas I used to. I still use it sometimes though and many PC games are still extremely popular for example WoW.

It may and may not, people still download games and stuff like that..but they are making more games for the consoles..so its a 50/50 chance..IMO.

NO WAY !!! pc gaming could never be dead. the best of the best always comes out on pc first for graphics updates and serious strategy gamers. plus if your into playing strategy or real time games then pc is the best way to go, because of the internet and upgradable hardware the pc could never be left out it jus don't get so noticed nowadays.

No, certainly not. It's just that handhelds and consoles are really in right now, but definitely doesn't mean PC gaming is dead

PC gaming will always be around. The whole customizability and keyboard/mouse is so much better than prepackaged systems that everyone and their cousin's friend's mom has and uses. That just seems more dumbed down and silly, especially when you hear people talk about gaming who think consoles are the only type that exist.

PC gaming will never die, what is a console but a smaller version of a PC? No way is it going out the door. There is so much more that can be done on a PC. Look at the Wii, sure it's unique, but just think about the kind of stuff they can do with a PC. If game makers start thinking outside the box, the USB port could easily be controller port for anything.

No I don't think PC gaming is dead, remember that about 5 million people are playing WoW, 15 million people playing Counter Strike and maybe 4 million(?) playing Starcraft. Think again.

As long as there is the internet. PC gaming will never die. Xbox live will never be able to compete with the PC. Also PC has the advantage of mods. What would we do without mods?!?!?
