Pc gaming will never die. Pc's may be on a hump right now but once the whole COD4 hype is dead it will come back.

I think people like the PC because It's very practical, They can work there and play at the same time, Thats why, (At least the PC) will never die

QFT. Plus there ae huge fanbases for PC games (Warcraft and Heroes of Might and Magic for example) and it's paracticality surpases just a plain gaming console ('cept the 360, seems pretty cool + it has mass effect... *drools with delight*).

The only reason why Console gaming is more active is because it's easier to get than a good PC, where a good rig will cost you anywhere from 600-2000 dollars. But to be honest, keyboard + Mouse gaming is so much easier, especially for RTG's, MMO's and FPS's.

I think it looked that way, but now its coming back in the form of games like CoD 4 and Starcraft 2...I hate what battlefield has become though. Bf2 was great... 2142 is S**T

Also, PC can handle emulators, That means it can even be a console or more itself!

PC Gaming is the realm of the wealthy and the crafty...Console gaming has allways been geared toward the more casual gamer.

PC will probably never die. Look how many games are for the PC itself? And besides more people own pc and can spend money upgrading than buying consoles. Consoles will always come out and be a hit but then die out, and the way the computer is created allows people to continue using a computer for gaming. So its just being born but will not die out easily.

While there's been a recent spate of crap games, there are still a lot of gems coming out in the PC genre. Unfortunately, if the game market is going to collapse, the PC market will go first.
