Super smash bros. for the gamecube is really quite fun once you get down the secret techniques. You can master these secret techniques by looking up videos (Advanced techniques ssbm) on youtube, and trying them out everyday on your own smash bros. game. They include wavedashing (makes you glide across the floor to have no lag while performing an attack that is not down b or down a, to do it, hold diagonally downard either southwest or southright and press y then r almost at the same time, but r right after y). The time to press r right after y varies with each character; also perfect wavedashing is when you hold diagonally at exactly 45 degrees, if it is less than 45 degrees, you will basically move a shorter distance.Teching is very important because it saves you lag time after right having been hit against the floor or wall; to do this just press r or l about a half second before you hit the wall or floor. If youre hitting the wall youll need to press a little earlier. Also watching youtube vids of good smash players like Ken, Isai, PC Chris, M2K, Chudat, KDJ, and CJ are really helpfulyah they do, but sadly enough, im one of the 10% that havent got the game....sorry
