my first gamecube game was super smash bros. I think it rocks. It's unmatched in all games of gc. But brawl sounds much better. Sum ppl i know say the only reason to get gc is super smash. But thats just a bit o.d. Watever, who cares?

SSBM has got to be one of the best titles for GC. And if 90% of GC owners didn't have the the game I'd be suprised. Can't wait to see "brawl"!

Man the first time i played Super smash bros. melee I wanted to play it forever!! but sadly we had played it at a friends house and we had to go home. for christmas like 4 years ago i got a gc for christmas and got smash with it and i still have it still love it

That's the staple game for gamecube. I don't know anyone with gamecube who doesn't have that and I hope I never meet someone like that. Lol i'd say 95% have it.

Funny thing is Super Smash Bro's has improved miraculously compared to the Nintendo 64. I've played Super Smash Bro's on N64, and I admit the graphics are spectacular. But once I saw the graphics for Gamecube SSBM, I was amazed. The makers of the game (Gamefreak (?)) has improved indeed. The next step will be for PS3/Online Play/Xbox360.

Sadly, I'm a GC owner who doesn't own this game. However, I've played it so much that I'm better than most people I know who do own this game (sadly, for other people). I have collected all trophies except for Diskun, and I use Marth majority of the time. If not, I use Samus or Captain Falcon. How much is the game nowadays?
