I ususally don't cheat , mostly because I don't konw how to but once I tried it. I't a good thing I was about to finish it already. The game lost it's challenge. i only used it bec. you needed to be in an event in another country to acces that place and I CANT jus ride a plane without money just for that, can i? (pokemon)

I don't like to cheat until after I have beaten the game. I like to use the cheats just for fun and effect after it's lal said and done. I like how on Goldeneye 64 you had to EARN the cheats....and when you used them...you couldn;t advance until you played it right.

No, when you cheat to beat a game the first time around you fail.When you cheat to beat a game the first time around, you're pretty much cheating yourself out of entertainment value.

i only use cheats either when i have beaten the game or when a have finished the gamed but some missing characters or powers wern't unlocked.

i only cheat once im done with the game. such as in the new gta. i wanted to finish the main story before i started messing with cheats. though i did find the last fight incredibly hard -.-

I do sometimes in Pokemon games (Master Ball, wild pokemon modificator,etc). I do this because I kinda lazy to trade Pokemon with the other.....Since I only knew a few of people playing it on my area....most of them using emulator on their PC.

Yes, and I wish I didn't. I'm sort of a perfectionist, so I NEED the guides to play the game thoroughly. I try not to, but I just can't stop using them, which sucks because using cheats diminishes entertainment value.

not really. most of the time i go through the game without them. on my second time, it's fun to use cheats on games like pokemon

I usally start a game with 2 save at the begining one I cheat on the other I don't i do try and play a part through on the non-cheat save before the cheat one but some games like baldur's gate(old) it just to hard to finish with just a 2 man party that the XP cheat is needed.

I never do, when i'm trying to beat a game. Completing a game with cheats would be tottaly not cool! I only sometimes test cheats, when i have already completed the game.

I voted ''Never'' altough sometimes i cheat after i beat the game.The only game that i enjoy to cheat is GTA,because reaching a 6 star suspect level and firing around with a tank is actually funnier than the game itself

yea, like pokemon gba version, u can get cheats by doin sum tricks on ur tapes, n then u can get like all the weird pokemons with lvl99 n crazy status of attacks n defends, or like final fantasy, i have to get cheats to play my game cos i hated it alot whenever i met monsters, i absolutely dun wanna die cos i dun wanna restart again, but im still playin final fantasy 12 on PS2, using guide book now, is tat considered cheatin? im gonna buy PS3 next month for the newest final fantasy, final fantasy ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its a "Before wi-fi" game then I'd cheat after I beat the game. But if its an online game then no. It just ruins other people's time.
