That's all my brother plays on Warcraft III. I never liked Warcraft III all that much though.A family friend of ours currently has an exchange student living with them who's on a Korean national team (according to my brother, at least) - I've seen him play - it's insane.Meep!Zithras

i haven't played Dota but i've seen my friends play. but i have played FOotmen Frenzy and X Hero Siege which are 2 mad maps.

Yeah, dota is really famous in my school, everyone was addicted to it. SO I tried it and I felt it was fun, playing as 1 person not as a group.

Do you think they'd ever convert DOTA to an FPS? You do realize that there's a ton of FPS to RTS conversions in Starcraft and Warcraft; in these games, there's an AI weakness where there's a delay before the AI fires on an enemy unit. These games are ultimately a dumbing down of the FPS genre; hence, for DOTA to become a real and respected game, it should be converted to an FPS.

If Dota became a FPS (A First Person Shooter, if that's what I think you meant) then it would be extremely hard to be able to gauge distance, plan attacks, check runes without actually going to there, gang yours opponents, nor be able to see how your skill works properly. There's a certain charm about an FPS and another type of charm in RTS. Mixing both is not a good thing.

last year i played DoTA for 10-15 hours but for now i only play DoTA for 1-2 1/2 hours only.. coz' its killing my mind and money.... LoLZ!!

Dota is one of the most good online game ever. Though you may get boring a bit later(as all games are) this one keeps on getting new maps, so you won't get bored. There are new heroes to try out, and really good game play.
